Depends on the insurers but often not if its a commercial policy rather than a car.
Same as why the b*stards won’t honour no claims from cars to bikes, bikes to cars, etc.
UK insurance is a legalised rip-off with no controls to ensure they honour EU legislation.

will only be using it for carting bikes/kids/dog not for business. looks like i’ll have to do some research.

try la palma island in the canaries, some great biking to be done. often cheaper than the other islands as not so popular. not much night life though, just small local bars or hotel bars

personally i think you need to strike a balance with what they enjoy and what they will need. if you push them down the route of just taking what you think is best its likely to backfire.

I ride scott scale and love it, unfortunately only the 760 but for the price its a great bike.
