I have a Vizla and it is 7 1/2 months now, she stopped eventually at around 6 months old. She isn’t mental or particularly hard work at all.
    Hope that helps

Swinley is easy to navigate for the marked stuff(about 15k), start from the Lookout car park, £2 for 4 hrs £4 all day, there are many other routes too. Any bike is fine. Surrey Hills aren’t so easy as the trails aren’t marked, if you go to Peaslake I’m sure someone will give you some pointers.

    Blame the wind,
it was a little gusty at the top.
I loved the sympathy from Weeksy’s wife when we got back!

Oh yes, there wasn’t any :)

Hi Weeksy, I’m pretty sure you are close to Reading (or used to be) I’ll come along if that’s ok, just checking availability.

Swinley was ok on Tuesday. Can’t imagine it being any worse tomorrow. A little of the Blue was shut near the start but the tank traps has opened again, albeit with no trees.

I have just got a chumba off Mr Spoon above and after many on ones, (the chumba is shorter by far.) I am finding it quite impressive no back ache , I haven’t even broken an arm yet? (someone will get that)

My first one was a Nail Trail, broke it (1 month) and bought a Specialised, broke that (1 week) and have carried on spending money on bikes ever since.

Why not heat up the tin on the hob (not too hot now :) ) and dunk the chains in, that’s what the motorbike guys do?

put some wire through the chains and hang on the side, then they can be lifted out and hung up to drain excess back in?

It was sold as an xt set :?
I did remove the chain as that wasn’t shimano either.

    I shall remove myself

Have a look on the old rings and see what the bolt centre diameter (bcd) is?
You should then know what will fit. Or you could measure this?
    hope that helps

We used to take bent forks to the local garage for”straightening” under the four post ramp. Didn’t last long.

You could go to swinley, berms everywhere and ways to get back up to try again.

If it is locked (8pm iirc) carry on past the entrance(on the left) to the next roundabout, turn left and left again (A3095) into the burgervan car park. This is the crowthorne side. Enjoy

Get the codes read, could be a crank position sensor (if it has one) they can fail intermitantly. You won’t be able to guess.

If you really want some fantastic trails hook up with Mat from Alpine Roots. Spent a week recently. Knows the area like the back of his hand. Pretty handy on a bike too. alpineroots-mtb.com
