Longer levers usually work well. As long as it hasn't got a split pin hidden away and you are sure it is a right hand thread.

I sent mine back because the stitching went, as it has on the humvees and zymes. :^( not ever so impressed.

I didn't know they were supposed to be waterproof? (off to have a look anyway)

edit, they are water resistant apparently

At our rugby club we give the kids and parents a card at the beginning of the season with acceptable behaviours expected from both the kids and the parents. If they can't stick to the rules the result is they are asked to leave. For the kids bad behaviour results in a "sin bin" for 2 minutes followed by one more then they are taken out of the session. The coaches are there to teach not babysit. My brother has just packed in football coaching as the behaviour upset him so much. (Mainly from the parents)

Oh in answer to the question, the aga meaning of efficiency is different to the normal meaning. They don't seem to include the price of the electicity in the explanation.

My "stir boils" on my parents aga were legendary 8O. Now our coal fired Rayburn with tap water that was slightly above boiling and boiling water in the radiator pipes, humm that really was inefficient. Can't beat them for a sunday roast though. Used to cost about £100 a month on tick over years ago. Alledgedly the only way to "control" the water temp was to have a bath or two. It has gone now. :-)

"You can bring home whoever you like, just make sure she's gone by the morning" nice one Dad.

Along with, in a similar vein "you can do whatever you like, but if you get caught you will take the punishment." That one actually worked pretty well too.

From me "my arm hurts if I do this"
from Mum "don't do it then"

Another one from my Dad " ****!" quite alot.

My parents were great, say hello to them if you are at the bottom of Leith Hill as I'm sure they have now washed down from where I put them.

    "Their ashes obviously"

Fortunately for me my kids/cat etc haven't thrown up on ours, you could try this but I would guess you probably have. http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Care_Kit.htm

Where are you? I would reckon that if you are asking these questions you have no idea what to do and could turn it into a non runner. I would have thought the prime suspect would be an air leak on the inlet manifold. Do you have the emission results from the mot, if it has high HC's then that would also point to a manifold/carb air leak.

If the spare is ok put it on and leave the spare out, If it isn't there it can't be tested.

My bikes weigh loads when I'm on them. Sadly I still think shaving 1.5Kg off the weight of the bike is a feasible idea no matter how pointless. I'd still be slow and overweight no matter the weight of the bike.

When my mum used to listen to Wogan and R2 we used to call it "radio suicide" Can't believe I am now even considering listening to R2.
I am officially now an old giffer, bah humbug.

I'd take a couple of sets and order them in as required. If it's dry you won't use many but if it's wet you'll munch them.

What flavour grapes are they? My parents had a vine for years and the white grapes were 8O foul, until it got hot/sunny enough to ripen…….

Hi Max, I have one of these lights and all you will need is a plug adaptor. It is brighter than my cree 3 led lamp and seems to be very good. Give me a bell and I'll bring it over to Swinley if we ever get round to sorting that out.

It has been known for rear calipers to sieze on the Audi/vw's. The handbrake works on the disc not a separate drum. You could try pulling the actuating lever back on the caliper ( ie away from the nipple on the handbrake cable )to see if this frees off the wheels. If it is this it will probably need a new caliper. They are not too expensive from what I remember.

Just finishing a ride on the ridgeway with nickc from here. Stopped for a bit and found in one of the houses near Waltington that it was porn night on the massive widescreen. Made us giggle a bit.

I bent my front one on the first go out, I did crash and bend a spoke on a rock though. I retensioned it and it came up perfectly true. Haven’t had a problem since. I did buy some spare spokes for each wheel as they are not standard (just in case). I have dented my 4.1 rims while doing nothing but bimbling along, now they really are cheese like.

Did the tyre “pop” when you fitted it? Like a car tyre going on. If not it may not have been seated properly.

If it was turning before it broke off I reckon the large threaded bar is your best shot without doing too much damage. You could then use it as a slide hammer.

a jar of pimento (roasted pepper with the skin removed) and prawns right at the end. A bloke I knew used to burn the bottom of it a bit at the end then mix it all in. Oh and a bulb of garlic in the middle to make it look nice. (cooks with the Paella and comes out all soft)
