Its a SS project for my lad. He wont need rack mounts so, V1 (& wallet saving) maybe the way to go.

Hardest E2E Ive ever done. I was bollocksed.

Having said that, Ive done no races this year. In fact my last mtb event was last years E2E! I blame it all on the Ducati Motor Company :oops:

Was gutted to be beaten by the Ballbag by 1 effing second!

I thought it was excellent, very thought provoking. I wanted to watch it in 2D but was only showing in 3D and I’m glad that was the case as the 3D visual effects were spectacular IMO.

I’d say 4 hours is pretty good on SS…how do you find the road section?

Absolutely soul destroying if Im honest. Every year on the road section to Ballaugh I question why I do it. Nothing more demorolising than watching everyone zoom past you & leave you for dead. Once I hit Ballacob its actually a relief to be able to grind up & once through CP1 at the gate at the top I can get a lick on. Bostin.

You can buy spacers that take up the space and solve the issue.

So I remove the non drive side crank, leaving the HT2 in situ, pop in the spacer(s) then pop the crank back on & tighten?

I have a pair of FS260 3/4s too, and they are a great fit – though more suited to chilly spring/autumn weather rather than deep winter.
