Sorry to keep harping on about it, but my kitchen is alive with the aroma of Costa Americano.

Good morning single track world :)

    I love Costa’s Americano :)

The barcodes on the pods are read by the machine to tell it what it’s making (late , cappuccino, etc) & how much water to give it. In the case of the Americano (which is the only one I’ve tried), it makes a perfect strength coffee in smallish cup.

You can of course hold the water button for more hot water, or bang another pod in over a giant mug (if you don’t like sleeping).

I’m also dead chuffed with my purchase and its results and I don’t give a stuff what any coffee snobs think

    Sorted!

I cant tell you why it didn’t work, but my kids (who are pretty handy with tech) couldn’t work it out either.

My lads mate somehow sorted it to download the iplayer & itv player apps on a VPN

In the words of Ultravox – it means nothing to me.

Thanks for your help anyhow chaps

Have you got location reporting turned on in your settings, Google play will need to know where you are in order to start the download.

I think this is the problem.

Its says my ‘location reporting’ is not available in Isle of Man (which is where I am) :(

    Thanks for that Cougar.

Im afraid Ill have to play that ‘technophobe’ card early.

Ill dig around & check the IP addy is the same.

Sorry, just bought it & switched it on – thought it would all fall into place. Oh the naivety.

    Hi Mike,

None of the above mate. The carbon race was from 2011 (I think) and is now unavailable (unless someone comes & says otherwise).

    Yes.

Road bikes are a great way to get fit quick & you don’t need half hour washing everything off when you get back.

It can get very addictive though.

For £500 Id be looking 2nd hand on here or Bike Radar ;-)

    EhWhoMe,

I have a carbon ‘dale Synapse and its ace. Really comfy & nice to ride. Its colour scheme is a bit loud & brash for my tastes though, and it seems to have dated despite being only 3 years old. Understated is definitely more me.

Im also a bit of a sucker for all the marketing guff on how smooth Ti is to ride on the road.

Anyway, Im 50 in a couple of months & just fancy treating meself :-)

    Cheers for your replies folks.

In comparing the 200 to others prior to purchase I must’ve got a tad confused.

So, what the point of the 2 odometers??

Thanks for your advice folks. Really appreciate it :-)

Just had a look at Evernote, it looks bob on, so Ive downloaded it & Ill look at it over the weekend. Thanks IA.

Hadnt really thought about blogging it all online tbh. Most of it is pretty boring soppy drivel from 2 young kids in love on a once in a lifetime adventure – and once in a lifetime is bang on. My missus is now severely disabled with MS and this is kinda why these words mean so much to me.

I may scan the books (so theyre always there) and also set about typing. I dont mind doing that. In fact I think itd be quite therapeutic.

    Cheers all

Theyre certainly highly regarded in the MC press, seemingly winning all the test rides vs the competitors, but as oomidamon suggests, it seems the bog standard (non R) version seems to be better value for the road.

But take no notice of me. I bought a Ducati Monster. Bostin :-)

I even modified one of the tugs to accomodate the lug
