Had to google Lauf – definitely been out of touch for too long.

Look wonderful, but perhaps a little rich price wise.

I aint rode a Piglet or a 26 Inbred, but owned a 29er Inbred since they came out. Fantastic ride. The frame has broke twice over the years (drive side dropout/chainstay area) which ive paid a welder a fiver to fix. Its as tatty as anything, but all the better for it!

    £150? Cant go wrong mate.

I ordered the black only and would prefer them without a zip, we’ll see what turns up.

If theyre shite, Ill lob ’em in the bin.

…a few reviewers on the PX site mention that they though the pad seemed to be fitted in an odd place (like too far forward)

Did you find that to be true?

Matt & the Rickshaw Challenge team are hero’s that always manage to put a lump in my throat and then get me to get my wallet out. I think Matt Baker should be knighted.

They raised £3.5 million this year. (Times that by 100 and they’d be able to fund the redecoration for a billionaires palace). Unbelievable.

So much for my £100 budget!

I blew it out of orbit and went for a pair of Meindl Bhutan MFS.

    It’s only money right?

I haven’t seen any of this series yet.

Think I’ll be checking out 4OD later.

Hope to get another few minutes later to try again.

Yep. Never have I struggled with a tyre like this before. Had fun & games putting a wire bead Schwalbe on my lads wheel a few months back, but this is on another level. I reckon I’ll just leave these on & when it’s time to change, just buy another wheel :)

Gotta try to get hold of the film now.

    OK then.

Ill give it a go in the morning chaps. Thanks.

Feel a little embarrassed asking for tips on removing a tyre, but bugger me this one had me beat. The palms of my hands are stinging from trying to roll the tyre over the lip of the rim & I just had to dive in the shower as I was soaked in sweat.

So great, and yet the usual improbables nark me.

Once again the highly skilled assassin Hanzer gets scuppered by the dim witted Blomqvuists.

The bullet through the head of the gas station owner from beyond the phone box and through glass is the sign of a true marksman. Pity he seems to be unable to hit the relative sitting targets of the lead characters in the shoot out scene.

But its still really great. Best drama series I’ve seen for years.

I spotted that hangman too, but being a bit thick like, thought no more of it.

Hmmm. Was a little less convinced with last night’s episode.

Like how Dodd managed to escape yet despite his accrued anger, brutality & sadistic remorseless killing was unable to take advantage of a situation that had the odds turned massively in his favour.

On, and the Indian ran out of bullets. Yeah right.

Can’t wait for next weeks episode though ?

    Great post.

I absolutely loved the first series and this series is just as good! Like someone said earlier – best thing on the box.

I love the way the story creates tension. Just about the catch up on last night’s episode.

Never seen the film. Is it in a similar vein?

Yep, I got ’em cos they were like the Jones ACX, alas the weather like it is, I’ll be needing something offering a little more grip.

    Any recommendations?

20psi is a lot! (though it probably rolls on the tarmac a treat)

I started off my first ride with 12 each end and played with it throughout the ride.

When Id got it where I wanted, I checked the pressures and found I was on 11 rear & 8.5 front.

Got my Chupacabras from Single speed Central. £80 a pop. Gulp.

By the way, I put 4 scoops of Stan’s juice in each tyre.

    Howdy Andy,

Not too bad sir thank you. Yourself?

Not single speed (for now) as I’ve been so slack & not getting out much, and when you ain’t fit, single speed destroys your soul :)

Fatlad, they’re Ragley Carnegie bars (I like the back sweep). The cranks are Middlebury RS7’s square tapered on a Hope ring.

Will be embarking on its maiden voyage shortly.

Great looking bike though. Top marks Sam.
