They’re not my cup of tea. Basically they’re like a trainer sock and should be described as such

I tried the M-109 and was left underwhelmed, felt the TT was long and combined with a very slack HTA the whole thing felt lifeless. Did everything well, including a super efficient (rear) suspension. Bought something else in the finish. Would suggest a test ride

    What kind of mud?

It’s amazing how much grip those RR’s have

TBF mine was a super baggy fit too, on Flows. Tried with the compressor and loads of washing-up liquid for some time, then gave up and put a tube in. Still was tricky after removing tube from one side, but eventually went up

I presume you tried a tube to get it seated? They are tricky tubeless

Wet roots fine – my riding is woodsy and hard pack. Does all that fine

Running mine at just over 20psi (89Kg’s)

It’s those merino socks everyone’s after

I use a Specialized which is 63. Works fine

That’s good advise on setting up an upright riding posture. A ‘roadie/XC’ set-up will induce too much lower back flexion or ‘slumping in the sofa’ 🙂

    Oops – you’re right

    So, this still isn’t right?

This is a HT isn’t it?

Recovery with conservative manual therapy (eg osteopathy) is favourable, and almost all of the lumbar disc bulges I treat make good, full recovery.

Looking after your damaged disc is inextricably linked to good recovery progress, so avoid the sofa like the plague (except to lie on it), NO hot baths, any kind of sitting should be avoided, if you’re driving decline the seat rake, and strengthen core if necessary.

Does KMC use the power link system?

Neverr tried a KMC. The Shimano’s seem to last a few months at best.

    Which KMC would you recommend?

What’s meant to be the spec difference between the two?

    Sure…?

Looks like most of the whole tube goes inside the steerer tube..?

Is the original cap replaced with the one on that?

Hmmm bad news for the On-Ones’s. I’ll look at Howies

The £15 Kona going around a month or so back is just brilliant

If you are being cheeky or taking the piss… DON’T BLOODY SHOUT ABOUT IT ON STRAVA or whatever.

    +1

Keep it reasonable. If you’re on cheeky trails, don’t upset the locals or anyone for that matter. We live in an age of knee jerk reaction and no riders want to see favourite trails either sanitised, barred or out of action/bounds from a mtb related incident(s)

Mtb’ing is on the increase with new people coming in. It’s places like this where they learn the ropes

I would urge anyone to just not post their routes of cheeky trails

So is it best to order a size up on the on-one’s?

    bonesetter

The icebraker in the other thread is more a base layer

The On-One looks more like a more versatile top – possibly wear down the pub type of thing

    I have a Baa-Baa merino – other half washed in – shrank 🙁

    So what about the On-One’s?

Have you considered Rocky Mountain bikes? eg Element? Very nice bikes and Evans are doing close out deals on them

What about the fork – have the later ones changed in any way?

Hmmm… what do folks think of that £2.5K price, all things considered – 8 yrs old etc? Isn’t JJ bringing out a ti diamond anyway
