Seems a lot of folk have their nose out of joint over this

Local businesses (who will have to stay closed), residents who need to get to work etc

Questions being asked over route choice (bottlenecks eg tigh turning left into Toys Lane Colley Gate)

    And then the traffic disruption

    Loving the orange colour

Shame you couldn’t have routed your rear brake line down the underneath of the DT?

I enjoyed both bikes a lot. I preferred Stooge’s higher front (which suited my gangly proportions, so normal sized folk mileage will vary)

Both are great bikes, and the Stache is onehellova well made one

Don’t get hung up on short CS’s though. My current is a Jones with 19″ CS’s and it rides very nicely indeed

    @ letmetalktomark

Thanks for coming in, and at ~6’3″ myself and more in the body than leg would be interested to see how much seat post you have…?

The Stache 5 (which I have FS ;) ) is much a much lighter bike overall, lower on the front, and more twitchy. I prefer the Stooge

Hmmm, as I’m in no rush to get this wheel built up I might hold out for the Scraper’s to come back in stock, thanks

Trek’s sizing is a little curious – they give two sizes, one is called virtual, whatever that means

I found the ‘XL’ to come up small for an XL, and really a bit small for me at 6’3″

I’d say if you’re anywhere 5’10” upwards you need xl

    PM if interested

    +1 for Celestion Dittons

‘Proper’ Hi-Fi ‘speakers – when Hi-Fi used to be all about the music, not about ‘soundstage’ ‘detail’ and the rest

Dittons are foot tappers, and ‘speakers you can listen to for hours

I had a pair of B&W 802’s for a while – while they could do ‘Hi-Fi’ really well, with the potential for making fireworks, they were boring

    Zu Druid

‘Full range’ 10″ dia ‘speakers, along with 101db efficiency means they go house shaking loud with flea power valve amps (my Leben valve amp is ~10wpc)

    Very musical sound

Beware though, once you go full range you can never go back to multi-driver ‘speakers as you’ll always hear the separate drivers

While you’re on – any nearer a Speedball sizing decision and if they’ll be more than just one size? :)

Quick question – presumably the MK3 is different to the Speedball?

    Good tips there Kit, thanks

How are your drives arranged then? I’m presuming you have another drive with your OS etc on, and your 128 SSD is a dedicated drive for LR? And the USB is a dedicated drive for pics/library? And does this arrangement simplify things and make everything run smoother/faster?

Am I near or completely off? (My IT skills are about the same as my biking ones ;) )

    Cheers

OK, I’ll stick with what I’ve got then and try the suggestions

It’s recommended 2 gig RAM min and 8 best

Also the 1:1 preview and looking through stuff in the library module, rather than the develop
