Wow, few rides in with the Stooge Moto Bars

They work – really work, very well

Highly recommended, even go as far as to say transform the bike

I’m going to go with it. At the end of the day, they’ve made a few of them!

I think that’s a good thing to go on

Little bird’s told me they are well made and nicely finished

Well, Stooge in the above B+ rear, 29+ front is just epic.

Last night’s ride was very dry with zero mud, with a dampness to the ground which gave compliancy and uber grip – hero dirt basically

Wow, the Stooge (and rider) was flying. I’ve been riding my rigid Trek Stache 5 for the past couple of months and stepping onto the Stooge I was laughing and shreeking like a kid at bronco

I don’t like to say this, but the Stooge blows the Stache away as far as ride goes

It feels organic, planted, compliant, comfortable in comparison to a dead, inert feel of the Trek. I really didn’t think frame material could make such a difference, and of course it’s more than that, but wow what a difference

I can’t imagine it getting any better

After five year of mainly fatbikes I’ve also given up with them.
I’m finding the whole B+ thing brings all of the good bit’s of fatbikes and leaves behind all the not so good bits. 2.8/3.00 BTW.

Finally someone’s on the same wavelength

I knew this would be tricky

    Why bother?

We’re coming to the end of the mud now

    Your Nics should be OK

^ I seem to be with you Dibbs – mine start to release easily if pulling up on straight stroke, and not easily enough when twisting out

I seem to have got through a few recently (across 3 different shoes)

Clent and Malvern are similar in that they are stoney and woodsy. Stoney is always mud free, but If you go down to the woods you’re sure to find mud

Clent is one of THE best draining places, and much like Malvern

Wyre is THE worst for mud

    Lickey’s are a non starter

Hardly a quick spin to Wales eh?

How soon into riding do symptoms come on?

I don’t think you would get much from a strict Slump Test, but combined with C-spine extension, yes (a bit mimicking riding position). Then C-spine compression (sitting probably). Thoracic outlet testing and then general range of movement with special focus on C/T junction. Then go onto neuro assessment, including Babinski

Should take all of 5 minutes

Could be worth a health care pro looking at that for you as could be something ‘central’ going on (neurological), eg central spinal cord compression in your neck

    Any bladder dysfunction?

Sural, saphenous and fibular sciatic branches there too

    ^ agreed with all that

I didn’t keep my 29+ for long, quickly going to B+

I had the CS adjusters too so could tuck the rear wheel in

    Semi-fat FTW!

My Fat Boy (anyone want to buy it?) is 4.8 front and 4 rear. It doesn’t see any use now, fun in the right places, but just a bit too draggy

My semi-fat Stooge and Stache 5 sees all the action (3.25F, 3R)

PM1 seems elusive – no-one knows what’s happening with it

How about a Stooge – top riding bike in B+ format

I’ve done two rides on mine (uncut)

Very quickly into the first I had forgotten about them – always the seal of approval in my book

Like a referee in a football match – you shouldn’t notice him :)

I’ve got lots of spare bars so was going to start there first

what kind of stem would I need to go 10mm up and keep the same reach from a 70×0

    bonesetter

Stem is up to max on the steerer, using a 70 stem and don’t want to go bizare on a high rise stem
