If you have the spare cash or you just want to rent for the winter then i would have to say get a Watt bike by Watt bike, i used one start of year and thought it was great and with all the info you can download to your computer you can see where you are strong and also your weak points…

Why not just stop making or importing cars into the country, there are just far too many on the roads full stop…Think of the benefits?!

Be good to hear what you think of running the 70mm stem after you have ridden a few times, i run a 90mm and have been thinking of trying a 70mm for a while now, just to see if it makes much differnce to my riding style…

I’m also looking for a work stand, and have been told to check out a stand called the OD-POD, i’m still unsure about this stand as can’t come across anyone who has used or bought one! but they were advertised other week on singletrack!

At the moment i am using a friends stand made by a company called revoultion, but am sure its a design used by other company’s that just put there name onto it, not a bad work stand though, so would recommened to others…

Depending on how short the ride is(1 hour) sometimes i hydrate a hour or so before my ride, usually pee then drink half a pint of water/juice and that will do me until i get home, though i suppose if it was a warmer day then perhaps that would not work for some people…

But mounting a bottle on some bikes can be a pain….

I would say that could happen, though i never had it happen to me and i ride pretty much flat out everywhere i go and lean well into the corners on berms etc, but as i said i never run any less than 27psi but maybe one day the sidewall will fold, fingers crossed not!!!

Go Tubeless and do away with punctures, run decent tyres with decent tread and you can run a low tyre pressure without any worries, I weigh 12stone and run anywhere from 27psi to 30psi and have not had a puncture in two years and have ridden a good selection of rides around the uk (lakes, peaks, scotland) to over in spain?

    You will never look back…

I live in the Lakes and have done the event a couple of times, but from what i have heard it is not on due to to problems with the forestry commission and rights of access for bikers to ride, I could be wrong(Hope I am)
I have a Email address for a guy who organises the Event i will contact him and see what he says, but i think its off…

From what I can see mine looks good, so good that if this weather clears later today am taking the bike for a blast and give it some stick, because all in all to me they are a cracking bike frame(pardon the pun)…

I’m going to have to go have a good look at my Bike and check the frame!! As said i have converted the rear axle from very early after purchase(from new) but i have had the chainstays taped with black amalgamation tape to stop rubbing from my boot, perhaps the tape is holding it together!! lol

    Fingers crossed…

I converted to the Bolt Thru Axle and am glad i did, makes my life a lot easier and i would like to say that personally i think it makes that back end more sturdy, Be interesting to know if any of the problems have happened with the conversion done, anybody??

I have two full blown Borders and a 1 year old Border crossed with a Long haired Jack Russell, all three are great dogs and are all different in there own way, the older two used to get worked but are now more like pets but still live outdoors and the pup is now my running partner and i can’t tire him out, he also loves to go swimming, but thats because i have had him doing it since about 7 months old, he loves it, but the other two don’t and won’t really go anywhere near the water, all in all i would say that as pet they are great dogs but like most they need attention and lots of good walks and time spent getting the dog you want, I.E swimming, running etc…
