Many thanks for the heads up Blazin Saddles, managed to get 40% off a jazzmaster👍

I’ve owned both, they are both really good.
The Whyte managed to be both agile and very stable and loads of fun. In tights woods it was incredible, especially when I mulleted it.
Downside were the weight and it was very low.
The Crafty is also super stable, quite agile but feels long in tight woods and tights corners. It’s better at climbing though, seems easier to peddle/ better on battery than the Whyte and it’s quite a bit light, especially being the carbon one.
If I had to summarise i’d say the Crafty was a better all round bike but the Whyte was a bit more fun in the right situations.

Just make sure it’s cleared before you hand over the bike. There is a very common scam where they have a fake bank app on their phone.
It’s looks like it’s transferred from their account, they hang around for a couple of hours arguing that their money is on its way so they can’t leave without the bike.
I recently sold an ebike on Facebook and had about 5 people try this. Their first question was usually “ do you take bank transfers?” No questions about the bike etc.

Another vote for Blueflow, had them on my ebike about 12 months and not a single issue.
No insert, ride Peak/ Yorkshire etc with the line choice of a blind Rhino👍
Lovely bloke to deal with too.

Just to add, you can run all the equipment on your own but I’d strongly recommend getting a professional company in on a job like yours👍

Unfortunately you have picked a bad time for pricing blasting work.
In April they stopped the building trade using red diesel which has nearly tripled the fuel costs for the compressors.
The blast media and everything else has gone up crazily.
Blasting exterior paint off is potentially one of the more expensive blasts as, depending on the paint, it can be a nightmare to get off sometimes. It generally is a good thing to test blast an area first to get an idea, though different parts of the building can be easier/harder.
There is also a lot of gear to bring and setup just for a test so that would probably cost.
It sounds like you also have a thin render/ concrete wash under the paint, more potential hassle.
If going down the diy route don’t forget you also need a compressor big enough to run the blaster with a decent size nozzle, they aren’t cheap.
If you have to wetblast it that also adds to the cost as it is slower than dry blasting.

Ohlins coil is fine for a Levo.

Another vote for Cubo Moto. I’ve sold a couple of hypermotards through them, they take the bike, prep it etc and can offer finance etc.
They take a commission and you can cancel your insurance. Worked really well for me and sold quickly.
They obviously also can make you an offer for a straight purchase but I ended up with a better price through their commission scheme.

    Thanks for the replies👍
I’m wanting to put a 65mm stroke spring on my shock which currently has a 67mm stroke spring.
Currently run 2 turns of preload so sounds like I’ll be ok👍
