Got an alloy f29 1 (2013) a month or two ago, great bike and good deals at pauls cycles.
Under 10kg with some bits off my old frame and lighter rear wheel.
Fork ramped up quite quick so have removed the volume reducer and its a lot better (for my weight anyway)
Just back from ValD’sere thought I would nip in and get a spare tube before going up the lift.
They only stocked maxxis freeride tubes for the princly sum of €19.99!!
Have got a 2.4,, the cheap folding version and not impressed with it at all.
Just about to remove it as it wont sit straight on the rim and wobbles like the wheel is buckled!
Was up there on Tuesday evening a little less windchill would of been welcome but the best ride of the year upto now.

Also just cut the valve from an old innertube even if it doesn’t have a removable core. Get the tyre seated first then pop a small section of tyre off to pour in the sealent.
