No glue needed with those, they are just pushed in to plug the hole.

Have recently re -bonded the threaded BB insert into my carbon frame using loctite 9466.
Probably done 200 miles off road since and it seem to be holding up!

The lads that own rock awnings ride with me.

They gave me and my racing partner an ex demo aluminium framed gazebo about four years ago and its still going strong.

Its never leaked and I remember an awful weekend at 10 under the ben where the skip was full of wind broken gazebos after the race, ours was still standing.

You can also get it screen printed for the full on race team look!

Was at gisburn first thing this morning and did a full lap.
Bits under the trees were fine.
Fire road and other exposed sections were frozen solid, ridable with care, but will be worse it it freezes hard again tonight.

The roads off the a59 are quite bad too.

Wouldn’t travel from sheffield to it.

As above Rock n roll extreme doesn’t attract mud/grit like the oil based lubes.

Stopped in val dìsere last august with kids.
Lifts are free just put down a deposit for the pass.
You can only ride the marked trails as the rest is national park status.
    So its all downhill routes!
I rode one of the enduro trails but it was badly signed and more like a steep landrover access road.
We rode all the blue routes with kids, but the reds are more full on.

The timing was an abismal, infact I suspect the timing mat was not working at all.
There was no auible bleep when passing over the mat and there was no running display of positions, just somebody taking numbers as people passed!
There must be mistakes through most of the catagories as the latest version had a glaring mistake in the catagory I was in.

Its a real shame as the event was otherwise great.

Hi, they seem plenty stiff enough on the 29er even built with dt revs through some pretty rocky stuff this morning,.
Am running tubeless with 26 psi in the front on bontrage xr1 team issue tyres for info.

Should build up even stiffer in 650b.

Built a pair for my 29r lefty, what did you want to know?

Just built a pair of the hookless xc 29r rims

I worked the ERD out to be 595.5mm which would explain the short spokes when the quoted is 592mm.
calculated spoke lengths seemed spot on.

    For info:

The front built with a lefty hub, dt revs and alloy nipples (with rim strip) was 648g
The rear on Oem dt 240s was 800g

    1450g total

Should be fine, adjust the b tension screw in to give a bit more clearance when in the 34t.
