Not seen the film – but that clip above shows the Germans to be the worst shots in the world. And the tracers look like lasers.

I don’t know if they have improved recently but when i bought my dab radio a few years ago, dab radios were notorious for eating batteries, DAB = destroy all batteries.

    That sounds horrible.

After i dislocated my shoulder (thankfully only once ) i used a brace for a while – pretty uncomfortable . I can’t imagine wearing 2 braces.

I would get myself some physio asap to strengthen the supporting muscles.

    Best of luck.

tandems usually have something like 40 to 48 spokes on the hubs and are often 145 oln rather than 135 oln

    a quick search – http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/rear-hubs-tandem-dept108_pg1/

i’ve got one of those Qeridoo ones – works ok. I would suggest attaching a side stand (or 2) to the trailer, as when loaded it will want to pull the bike over when static – ie when loading. It also makes attaching it to bike a bit easier.

I think on these that it’s designed so that the floor can be cleaned with a hose :-)

Asian cinema does this sort of stuff 10x better. Don’t get me started on the abortion that’s his version of 47 Ronin.

I certainly wouldn’t recommend buying anything off this seller. Wheel certainly wasn’t as described in advert or subsequent pictures were “carefully posed” to say the least.

yes – you can get reducers so you can use 1 1/8th forks – they appear regularly on ebay as do secondhand headshok which would probably be your lightest option for suspension.

I would approach this with caution. I have been offered external wall insulation under green deal. Six months ago my council blanket visited all the houses in my neighbourhood heavily pushing external wall insulation.
. However the approved contractors for my council are completely useless. After signing the various contracts / grant forms and arranging a fitting date, they realized that they can,t actually fit external wall insulation to a house with bay windows – this is after 2 surveys and 3 visits when this problem was not identified. F***wits.

I’ve replaced bearings on one of these before. Trick is to hit it from the correct side as per instructions.

Just seen latest post – yes its an old 370 hub – dismantling instructions in pdf – shouldn’t need a special tool unless dismantling pawl carrier.

And if you own equipment capable of decoding a TV signal, such as a big TV for watching TV streamed from the web, you will also need a TV license, even if you never watch live TV.

    Rubbish.

If you don’t watch live Tv you don’t need a license. I have a Smart TV but its not connected to an aerial or satellite as i never watch live TV. As a result I do not have a license. TV licensing called round to check – said everything was fine and agreed no TV license required.

I remember meeting the son of a senior Surrey policeman whilst at uni in the late 70s (yeah i know i’m old) who had some interesting tales to tell about Sir Cliff and the police having to have a quiet word with him about his behaviour. I obviously don’t know whether it was true or not, but it’s always stuck in my mind

I’ve got one of the micro lights with 2 small batteries. One battery drains away whether the light is on or off. I just use the one battery now. Can’t see any damage internally.

Regarding banning of hi power hoovers, I must say the 1200w Bosch thing i’ve got stamps all over the useless dyson thing in terms of sucking power.

Read this interesting article regarding hoovers

I use bontrager wheels with 28 spokes – they have no recommended weight limit and I weigh more than yourself. I’ve had no problems. Their Race X lites at 1460 grams a pair are 28 spoke and have no weight restrictions.

Shimano use 2 different size hoses and inserts I believe. The older style – such as M775 uses bronze colour inserts and hose BH 63 – the more modern -insert is silver and hose is bh90.

    Something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mr-ride-Alligator-Hydraulic-brake-Hose-155cm-hose-Olive-Bushing-Insert-SHIMANO-/181328372218?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item2a380361fa

    would fit
