agree with a lot of the suggestions above. My special, cosy secret is a mountain cap. cheap, waterproof, covers your ears and has a nice peak to keep the drips out.
I love steel bikes and have 3 but this is cray Cray. for that money it would need to be bespoke to my fit and have something about it. looks a bit boring
Don’t sweat it fella. First timer o dropped mine was at a garage, filling up. I waved enthusiastically at my old instructor who helped me pass my test the week before, then promptly dropped the bike.
The further I get from the crowds the lower my coffee standards go. I can’t be bothered with faffing about so take instant and coffeemate. As long as it’s hot and wet, I’m happy

Booked to guide an uplift day on Exmoor. Turned up and while waiting for the clients realised to my horror that I’d left my bike lock key 300 miles away at home. Bike locked up securely in the back of my van! Try finding an angle grinder on Exmoor at 9 o’clock in the morning on a Sunday. Eventually rescued by a very friendly farmer.
