it seems that he is going through trial by media.

    anyone remember Craig Charles?

just because someone says it happened doesnt always mean it did.

investigation followed by evidence followed by necessary justice.

or we could just light the torches now

the solaris looks nice but no rack mounts.
marino custom crmo build would be £376 posted so definitely in the mix.
Bombtrack has too short a travel plus i don’t like it when there’s no price on the product.

whoops, yes my w/base is not 435 as that would be ridiculous.

its only one lls bike, the rest are 26 kids bikes. dont mind a bit of faffage with bar turning so should be good to go.

I’ve tailgate van so restricted with choices.

i do like riding ss round my way, it’s perfect for it.

    no massive hills.

    sticky mud of it’s wet

    etc.

i love the simplicity of it and just having to push the gear you have.

Malverns is not for you if you don’t like riding uphill. some cracking climbs rewarded by some excellent dh runs.

suppose you could ride the balcony trails, Google mtb Malvern hills, there are some easy waymerked trails that traverse the hills

who rides with the  pedal under  their midfoot?

    that’s just weird.

having it under the ball of your foot gives more flex and allows for greater control when dropping heels on the steeps.

maybe the reason why it’s hard to find shoes with a slammed rear position is because it’s not right

you’ll probably need a blind bearing puller to fit.

it’s not difficult to knock up a simple threaded rod and socket to fit

    great tents.

just check the seller has decent feedback, nothing to worry about.

if you can stretch to the lanshan 2 you’ll appreciate the extra room as the 1 is tiny

i think there’s more crappy people, always bumping into ignorant folks blaring out music, starting fires etc or even better, posting on YouTube their average riding on footpaths then being arrogant over the matter.

    definitely.
theres more to outdoor climbing than opposing karabiners.
have a look around for a local club perhaps. Bmc has listings on their site.

    all the best

    struggling to understand this.

    are you climbing outdoos yourself?
sounds like you don’t have any kit?

how about taking him to a local wall with auto belays?

taking all the great to a crash and setting up a top rope can be time consuming and boring for you just stoid there belaying.

or take them bouldering, they’ll learn better techniques and you’ll need less kit plus you can be movable a lot easier

I used spray.bike to repaint my starling.
A good result, pretty pleased with it. Used the Kieren flake on top.
You have to spray a lot closer to the frame than when using normal paint and between coats take a soft cloth and rub it down for a smooth finish

Fingers crossed Newbold will hold up but when i went last Northants was looking battered, not just the trails-the flat areas to entrance. I guess it’s a victim of its own success. Happy for trails to be accessible for all though.
Leam trails look ace, the skills area near to the Newbold will be cracking
