    Binners.

I had a white Integrale Evo 1, which a mate and I went halves on. We imported it from a Japanese auction site and it cost us £16k, with all taxes, transportation costs and a full service, including 4 new tyres, when we got it into the country – about three years ago now. Neither of us could really afford it and we told our wives that we were only planning to keep it for a year. We sold it to Walkers at a profit and they’ve sold it at a much bigger one. I’ve not stopped crying ever since. But, over the year that we owned it, other than the initial service, we simply put petrol in it, no faults at all.

What’s wrong with the roof to warrant it needing renewing? Is the original roofer still trading?

I imported this from Japan, kept it for year then sold it to Walkers. They’ve had it for about 18 months now. Deeply regret selling it, but I had promised the Mrs that I would only keep it for a year.

Yes, and it wasn’t too much trouble. There was an oath to be sworn in the presence of a solicitor.

I read this thread from time to time and am becoming increasingly concerned that I may be implicated. You see about 15 years ago, I was dealing with Sade’s (the 1990’s pop singer) house (it had subsidence and I was investigating the cause). Well, she had a song called “your love is king”. Jonathan King was convicted for child sex offences, and his surname is obviously linked to the Royal Family – Prince Charles – who will one day be king. Have we got to the bottom of how many Armies the Queen has yet? My guess is five. Or six. Not quite sure.

I’m more of an observer, rather than a participant. But can you, JHJ, write down what you actually think please rather than post links to articles elsewhere. Do you actually think the Queen could get us to invade France or Australia to invade NZ?

I had a bit of a mid life crisis a year or so ago and scratched an Integrale Evo shaped itch. Very quickly realised it was a far better car than I was a driver(funny that). When I did drive it quickly it was always on my mind that what I was doing was dangerous and irresponsible, so I stopped. But I loved the car, the looks, pedigree, fact that it was Italian and left hand drive. Very much regret selling it. It was pretty much the opposite of the stealth car alluded to pages ago in that it was a bit obvious and standoutish.

PS the only reason for the bragging is to answer the question of who buys a fast car and doesn’t..,..

The gnome in Ben and Holly is the best. The one where they go camping is fantastic. I still sing the gnome song to myself now.

I once blocked Sade’s drains. And on another visit to her house, my car alarm woke up Clive Anderson. He was annoyed.
