I fly the things and have no idea how to disable the CVR without a phone call with our engineering department.

I just had a look at the manuals…and there is no guidance.

Pilot’s unions oppose using cockpit flight recording data in prosecutions because it encourages pilots to turn them off. My guess is that pilots are unofficially coached in how to ensure that evidence is accidently lost after incidents. Just like how cops conveniently forget to turn on their body cams.

What a load of tosh!  do love an armchair pilot…

After an incident like that, the adrenaline will be coursing quite vigorously and trust me, the last thing you will be thinking of is to spoof the CVR, also it looks like from initial reports that all the crew performed 100%.

So they would have nothing to hide.

So how long will I be infectious for, considering I first got symptoms 12 days ago?

Will be visiting my 80yr old mum so wouldn’t like to pass it on.

So 10 Days into this now, is there any end in sight?

I’m meant to be skiing in 3 weeks but am seriously doubtful I’ll be able to manage more than a couple of runs the way I feel!

Tempted by the Prima Orra carbon 700c wheel set at £419 but would I be better off getting the Hunt carbon gravel wheels at £679 ?

I guess the issue would be getting hold of spares for the primes!

There are much better photographers out there, I’ve been lucky with a reel going viral, before that had about 800 followers…now 10.5K, ridiculous!!

If you’re a business, it’s not really about the follows, it’s the engagement that really matters and you can check it here

Good luck!  and thanks for the follows.

Had a letter from the fracture clinic after having reviewed my x-ray there is no fracture seen and it is very unlikely I have a fracture but I still have an appointment with the fracture clinic, which is a bit odd because I thought if you don’t have a fracture then no appointment is made…

    Thanks for your replies.

Seems a suitably grey area, this is what Admiral say

“Can I drive while wearing a cast?
Broken legs, arms and collar bones are among the injuries most likely to hinder your ability to drive as struggling with a cast could affect your freedom to perform day-to-day activities.

You’ll need to check with your doctor to confirm if you are able to drive and, if not, how long these restrictions will last. You’ll also need to tell the DVLA if a broken limb means you’re unable to drive for more than three months.”

So will wait to see what Dr says, my car is auto with an electric handbrake, so left hand won’t be used much!

I guess the only way now on YT, is to be unique and upload compelling videos but its finding that USP…

Could you get a MTB leader qualification, then you could use YouTube to advertise that and make the real money on Mtb guiding.

Yak, we think the little one is stressed as the big male cat chases her round the house pretty much daily, so going to get feliway today and give the big male puss a stern talking to.

Cracking wildlife photos, I’m getting into wildlife photography but finding the days when I’m not working and the light has been good this winter has been a bit difficult.

A great first episode, the white tailed eagles chasing the poor goose was some of the most dramatic wildlife scenes I’ve seen on tv, easily matching a lion taking down an antelope on the African plains.

I really hope that the grate British public takes our wildlife to heart and starts ramping up the pressure on the government.

There is a campaign website here https://www.saveourwildisles.org.uk

I have read that if the finance is cancelled within the first three months, then the dealer will lose their commission on the sale, which is fine if its not the dealer you potentially will be using to service the car or process any warranty claims through.

Do we have any car salesmen here who would like to comment on that?

A BMW X1 SUV hybrid is 60kg lighter than the 330e hybrid estate.

So much for the heavy argument!

Seen the series now, a lot of dramatic licence used, the lawyer/launderer Cooper is a fictional character etc.

But I’m now reading the book by Neil Forsyth and Tom Turner and its much better, purely factual and well written.

Keynsham is ok, I live there. There has been approx 1500 houses built in the last five years, so hopefully the town is on the up, new cafe/bar opening on the high street, 73degrees bike shop (roadie/cyclocross orientated unfortunately) has just moved into a cavernous new shop on Bath hill by the park.

10 minutes on the bike and you’re into country lanes to Chew valley and the Mendips or the Cotswolds. 10minutes on the train and you’re in Bristol or Bath.

The town still suffers from anti-social behaviour but its getting better.

For those who are going to Cape Verde, which island are you going to Sal or Boa Vista? Both Islands have kitesurfing/windsurfing and quite hardcore surfing (think gnarly reef breaks) quad bike tours on Boa Vista look like fun, don’t know about Sal.

Big game fishing should be available and diving/snorkelling trips on Boa Vista.

I did rent a Asda style mountain bike on Sal once, lots of dirt tracks to explore and some hills and there is a beach e-bike rental place in Santa Maria, Sal.

Have a look at the canaries smaller islands, La Palma and La Gomera, also the west coast of Tenerife or a quiet Gran Canaria resort are good options.

Cape Verde is nice and warm but only if you like sand! ace for surfers and Kitesurfers but that’s it.

TUI flys to Senegal and The Gambia from Gatwick, could give you that culture bit.

Currently going through my first dose of the virus and the one symptom which has got me confused is the massive red rash all over me, like I’ve rolled in a bed of nettles, any ideas of how to control the itching? Can’t go to the pharmacy due to self isolation.
