No they price matched a new bike the other shop had in stock, also had 10% though work so was bit of a billy bargain.

Thanks for the comments on size, I guess the advantage through Evans, is that they have the 30day bike return thingy.

Oh just for info Evans price matched another U.K. Bike shop (depot) so got it at a good price.

I bought the strada 3 bike carrier, because it gives more space between two mtb’s. Put my Boardman and a mates whyte tc129 29er on it and it was useful to have the extra distance between the bikes.

If you do get one make sure the frame is clean when tightening the straps as I wore some paint off due to some grit on the downtube.
