I’m glad I promoted fond memories of Dudley gentlemen. I’m afraid I bailed out and I’m eating shit pizza and drinking fizzy beer in a leisure park.

Might hit the Top Star however sounds like a Belfast boy will be right at home

Who should we write to about all theses premiership players wearing jewellery? It’s there in the rules.
    Examples?

Not quite Premiership but nasty outcome.

Do his rugby boots have hard toes? I was told that’s why I couldn’t wear mine at school for football.

It’s total rubbish about the studs, metal are definitely safer IMO. I’ve had to get 15 stitches in my face due to being sliced open by a plastic blade boot.

Yes good idea. Has been better for the fans keeping the interest alive and also the smaller countries in terms of revenue for their association. The IFA will get around £2m for getting to the 2nd round, some of this will be spent on grassroots development and the rest on the stand we broke at Windsor

Lovely arse THM for a retired prop :D

Eng certainly deserved the win and Billy V was excellent, he smashed Trimble who is usually a very good defender. Lots to improve on from Ireland and time to give Sexton and Kearney a rest.

So Brown wasn’t looking at Murray? He was being reckless then.

I think EJ mentioning Sextons parents being worried wasn’t required. However I do think Sexton needs a prolonged break from the game, he has only finished 3 of his last 22 games. His form in the past year has also been fairly poor.

I’m looking forward to seeing McCloskey at 12, he has a good offloading game so we may see something a bit more adventurous from Ireland. I think longer term Henshaw will go to 15 and Ringrose will play 13. That would be a great attacking back line.

I’m going with Frampton, great punch and in the best shape he’s ever been in.

Ireland team 2 first caps in the starting 15. McCloskey has been in great form for Ulster but its a big ask to head to Twickenham for your debut. I haven’t seen much of Van der Flier but the Dublin media seem to really rate him. Tough task for Ireland.

    15. Rob Kearney (UCD/Leinster) 68
    14. Andrew Trimble (Ballymena/Ulster) 60
    13. Robbie Henshaw (Buccaneers/Connacht) 17

A more pertineent question would be about Schmidt. Ireland play anti rugby AND dont win.

I’m very happy with Joe 2 championships in your first two seasons is a great achievement in Irish rugby. As for anti rugby, I think it’s the ref that had that effect. Last week we had 5 line breaks to Wales’ 0 so that’s rubbish.

Dan, expectation in Ireland is quite low this season due to the injury list and the poor performances in Europe from the provinces. We had 2 of our first choice pack on for most of the game so it was always going to be difficult. We have real problems at tight head, when Mike Ross goes out we are very exposed. However I’m very positive for the future we have some great young players coming through and we might see more of them later in the championship and in SA in the summer

. None of the home nations teams could cope with the Aviva at first, the pro12 doesn’t prepare teams for the level of intensity.

I don’t think this is the case. Look at the last 10 years or so in Europe and the 6N the Irish have been very successful in both competitions and the Welsh in the 6N. Pretty much all the Irish play in the pro 12.

The Aviva as a league offers better watching but I don’t think Glasgow and Edinburgh playing in the Aviva would improve Scotland’s results. The lack of success for them and England is more due to the unions not making the most of their resources.
