Anything will be better than Duelers – they are an awful tyre.

    so true

I used to run Bridgestone Dualers and I thought they were pretty poor. A friend recommend Pirelli Scorpion Verde all seasons and they are fantastic. I have a pick up so the back end can be a bit twitchy but these tyres are great. I drive all over the Highlands in winter and they have never let me down. Also price is pretty good.

Try your local indy tyre place though, they are generally cheaper than online.

On the Belfast -Cairnryan ferry at the moment, nothing to report. Although the trucks were loaded on the upper deck and cars on the lower, usually the other way round.

As for never leaving your child alone in a building when I was a kid people would go out and play all day long unsupervised. Off on your bike to the woods etc etc.

Of course but not aged 2 and 3.

I’d never leave my kids alone and can’t think of any parents of very young children who would.

Depends on the aggregate you choose starts at around £60 per sqm laid.

Goes on top of existing concrete or tarmac. Around 18mm thick

Big holiday in my part of the world was last week and relates to the Bonfire thread that I’ve avoided on purpose. Suppose I’ll just go watch Linfield on Weds :D

If he was buying Balvenie then another Speyside from a supermarket should be ok. Tesco had Glenlivet Founders reserve around the £30 recently

Be interesting to see if Sinn Fien take the money or decide to kick up a fuss

They had no problem taking the Northern Bank caiish

Should be enough cash in the NI kitty now to resurrect the renewable heating scheme for a few more years…

    Sectarian headcount.

Trimble’s (more moderate in some ways) UUP fell apart after the Orange Order withdrew its support when it looked like peace was on the cards. Orangemen eh?

Rubbish, it was the failure to reach an agreement on decommissioning. To infer that the Orange Order didn’t want peace is insensitive DD.

Ulster Unionist Party – Will be a 2 horse fight between UUP and DUP in my area. The UUP candidate is reasonably progressive on issues like gay marriage and does a lot for the area. Would be happy for him to remain in the seat. The UUP also realise that they have to work with nationalist/republican parties unlike the DUP.

Melon, but he was never tackled.

It’s a while since I played but if you are on the deck you must release and gather if you want to continue.

All 4 props had a good game, Mc Grath in particular got through a lot of work. Love Sinkler’s enthusiasm as well.

But who do northern irish athletes run for?

We can choose Ireland or GB. In the case of Bethany Firth the swimmer she has represented both

I’m not claiming that they are anything more than thugs but they have the potential to cause absolute mayhem here. Just as republicans have placing bombs at schools like they did this week. NI is in a very precarious place right now.

And yes I’ve seen them, I live here.

DD as the past has shown paramilitaries didn’t need a massive arsenal to bring the country to the brink of civil war.

Think about where the key infrastructure, ports, airports and power stations are for example.

The potential for unrest is massive should there be a change. Also SF know a NI referendum wouldn’t have their desired result. That’s why they want an all Ireland vote.

Gerti +1. The Brexit vote and a united Ireland are two very different things despite SF vote on it.

There would be a swift return to the troubles if there was a United Ireland. The loyalist paramilitaries have plans in place for absolute mayhem if this was ever to be the case.

I think many generations down the line this could change but it won’t be in any of our lifetimes
