I ended up not even seeing the match, I was at the self build show in Glasgow and didn’t get away in time, looks like we got a proper hiding, I hoped we could come close to Leinster but reading the reports it seems like we made too many errors and Leinster took their chances.

Nothing for second place so hopefully the new coach can take us a step further next season. Well done to Leinster, probably the best European team ever. Suppose it should be the Carlsberg cup!

So why are the regions so poor in Europe and conversely why doesn’t the Irish team do better in the 6N and WC on the back of the provinces success in Europe. Is it as simple as the standard of the coaching?

How come you taffs aren’t on the Heine thread? Oh yeah that’s right the Welsh interest faded a good few weeks ago!! 😀

Very humble DD. I have to agree with you though Munster just don’t have the power in the pack or the edge in the backs that they used to have. I think you are really missing Flannery and Wallace in particular. I don’t think Ulster would have won down there a couple of seasons ago. I also have to say that the legend that is POC is on the wane considerably, I know I blaspheme.

Just need Ulster to beat the D4 posh kids on sat and we’ll be flying!

If you’re Irish, it’s craic. In Northern England it is crack – I don’t care what anyone says. Sorry, just need to clear that one up

Butcher you clearly don’t know your cracks from your craic!

Good shout MC, don’t see the big deal about providing your email address to see the deals. Digger do you never use price comparison or insurance websites?

Sports Pursuit have always been good for anything I’ve bought and often the delivery time is quicker than expected. Can’t fault them

Peachos, yes I was very fortunate with the weather, that was about 6.30 at night and it was still 15 degrees. The ascent was fine, probably took about 1hr 20mins or so nothing too steep but a few loose areas where you need to watch the footing. Would definately recommend it.

Sanny, just the main footpath, rocky and very loose in places but mostly rideable. Bit stop/start in places though.

I’d be up for Lomond some weeknight evening as I’m in Scotland every other week for work. Usually stay in Milngavie or Stirling depending on work commitments.

A few pics from Ben Ledi last Weds night. Not a Munro but close enough I hope 😀

Loved the way the Cross, cloud and Moon were in alignment on the first one. Great wee run and nice loose and fairly fast.

DD nice to see you back, I’m assuming that you are only starting to come to terms with Ulsters victory in Limerick now!

Just one more huge effort from Ulster and you never know!!!

Yeah I think the yellow card period was crucial and possibly the turning point mentally for both sides, the Ulster scrum was outstanding considering Fitzy was up against a seasoned international. Edinburgh would possibly have sneeked it had they remembered to put the Pritt stic on their hands.

I agree Laidlaw was fantastic and had a couple of big turnovers. Fords performance will have gone a long way in placing Best ahead of him in the pecking order for the Lions hooker berth.

Have to agree TJ ferris should have been binned, however Ulster haven’t got their attacking game going at all. Fitzpatrick going well at scrum time

Ulster should be at full strength apart from the suspended John Afoa, win by 10-15 points I reckon

Yes in terms of the stiffness and support, I’ve got all sorts of ankle and knee problems from rugby and basically need a sole with little flex and a fairly high ankle support.
