You are all wrong, an Ulster fry is where it is at:

    Sausage
    Bacon
    Fried egg
    Black pudding
Fadge, also known as potato bread or tattie scones to the Scots. Ulster ones are a bit thicker though.
Soda Farls, not to be confused with soda bread

    Definitely no beans

It was well deserved Pigface. Bevington was outstanding as was Wyn Jones when he came on

Wrecker I think its a bit of Ulster being a good team as opposed to outstanding individuals, having injuries to guaranteed starters (Tommy and Fez) and Ireland being selected by the Munster turnip head Deccie. Whenever Ulster were the third best team in Ireland and we had 2 starters his argument was that if Ulster performances improve in Europe then it will be reflected in the Ireland team. Not sure what his excuse is now.

However the only argument for an Ulster starter would be Chris Henry and Paddy Jackson on the bench instead of ROG.

    Ireland team unchanged:

    5 – Rob Kearney (UCD/Leinster/42)
    14 – Craig Gilroy (Dungannon/Ulster/2)
    13 – Brian O’Driscoll (UCD/Leinster/121)
    12 – Gordon D’Arcy (Lansdowne/Leinster/72)
    11 – Simon Zebo (Cork Constitution/Munster/4)
    10 – Jonathan Sexton (St.Mary’s College/Leinster/35)
    9 – Conor Murray (Garryowen/Munster/15)
    1 – Cian Healy (Clontarf/Leinster/36)
    2 – Rory Best (Banbridge/Ulster/63)
    3 – Mike Ross (Clontarf/Leinster/25)
    4 – Mike McCarthy (Buccaneers/Connacht/7)
    5 – Donnacha Ryan (Shannon/Munster/24)
    6 – Peter O’Mahony (Cork Constitution/Munster/10)
    7 – Sean O’Brien (UCD/Leinster/23)
    8 – Jamie Heaslip (Dublin University/Leinster/53) Captain

    Replacements:

    16 – Sean Cronin (St. Mary’s College/Leinster/23)
    17 – David Kilcoyne (UL Bohemians/Munster/3)
    18 – Declan Fitzpatrick (Dungannon/Ulster/3)
    19 – Donncha O’Callaghan (Cork Constitution/Munster/91)
    20 – Chris Henry (Malone/Ulster/5)
    21 – Eoin Reddan (Lansdowne/Leinster/48)
    22 – Ronan O’Gara (Cork Constitution/Munster/126)
    23 – Keith Earls (Young Munster/Munster/35)

Its going to be a really close game but I think that home advantage and the fact that its 10 years since England won in Dublin in the 6N should see us home.

The Lake Isle of Innisfree – Yeats

I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made:
    Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee;
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
    Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight’s all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet’s wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
    I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.

I’m on it regularly so it will be grand. Last winter I had a crossing that was very bad, when I drove my car onto the ship in Cairnryan I thought the steering on the car was faulty. It wasn’t it was the ship moving while tied up in port. No food taken on that crossing

Good point, however I’m in favour of the bonus point system generally. I think it does encourage more attacking play and is better for the spectator. It also means that teams that try to play are likely to be rewarded and teams based on defence and kicking points may be forced to expand their game.

Heaslip, O’Driscoll’s successor as captain, remarked that it was “one of the first games for a long time where I have walked off with literally nothing left in the tank”.

Oh Jamie, you should be feeling like that after every game. Lucky old turnip head made you captain, back row of Ferris, SOB and Henry please

[/quote]In terms of the 6N Ireland have the big teams at home and are away to the third tier nations so I think we will do very well. We are starting to get a good mix of youth coming through to blend with the experience and BOD is back which always gives the squad a lift. If we start with a win in Cardiff, a game we should win easily, then I think we can win the tournament overall.

Well I got the first bit right!!

Excellent first half from Ireland loving the width they tried to put on the ball. Poor second half when we took our foot of the gas and stood off Wales too much.

Pigface the consensus in my office in Belfast is the same! I’m really worried that we won’t see much of the ball, despite turnip head Deccie protesting that a back row with two 6’s is the best combination. Its possible that Wales will play with two 7’s so how we are going to win ruck ball I don’t know. Chris Henry has been in outstanding form and should have been starting at 7 with POM or SOB at 6.

I think we could struggle at scrum time especially if Healy or Ross were to get injured. The replacement props are iffy to say the least. Kilcoyne is a young prop who would struggle with Adam Jones and Fitzpatrick has played about 10 mins of rugby this season.

We have the backs to do a bit of damage but we will need the ball to do so.

Telfer is spouting some crap in that piece. Wales are surely one of if not the fittest team in the 6N, that doesn’t come by accident.

    Ireland Team:
    Kearney
    Gilroy
    BOD
    Darcy
    Zebo
    Sexton
    Murray
    Healy
    Best
    Ross
    McCarthy
    Ryan
    O’Mahony
    SOB
    Heaslip

Can’t believe he has brough SOB in at 7 instead of Chris Henry. Henry has been one of the standout players in Europe this season and would be a much better fetcher against Wales. Worried

I would recommend a cot/bed. We have a Mamas and Papas one which is very solid and will last from 3 months to age 3 or 4. At newborn you will probably use a moses basket.

I’m not sure if its clear from above but it is best to have a pram or pram attachment if a travel system where the baby can lie perfectly flat for the first 4 or 5 months until they are strong enough to sit in a stroller attachment. We have the icandy peach and along with a maxi cosi car seat one chassis does all three attachments. Take your Mrs along with you to see if she can lift the buggy in/out of the car and assemble it easily. We went with the icandy as Mrs Melon could assemble the pram one handed.

EDIT – very good height adjustable handle on the icandy for the taller pusher!
