    Whereabouts in the Mournes Tony?

I work in external facades. Realistically you need around 50mm of phenolic insulation for a significant thermal improvement. This can be clad with a thin coat render of around 8mm so you are adding approx 60mm to the thickness of the external walls. Contact your gas and electricity suppliers as you might find they can offer a green deal payback option. Eon certainly are at the moment.

If you need to include internal flights someone like United would be worth pricing for the full trip as SFO is a hub city for them. BA, Virgin, United and AA are all very average.

Nice clip AA I was thinking about that earlier today. A certain justice to it all. I’ve seen Rory play all season and he has been one of our best players. He suffered in the 6N without POC being there. I’m so pleased for him he is a genuinely humble guy who gives 100% every time.

I’d be happy with that Tom!

So the league finals tomorrow. Predictions please… I’ll go with Tigers by 5 and Ulster by 2. It will be a tough ask for Ulster but I really think we can beat them up front and hopefully contain the backs.

    Which one did you drive?

Freddy it was the mid range model, one down from elegance i think, DSG gearbox and I would guess around 100 bhp. I got it as a hire car and when told at the desk that’s what it was going to be I was looking forward to driving it given all the reviews you read about them. But I have to say I was really disappointed. My biggest gripe was the road noise, it was terrible particularly on the motorway. My colleague in the passenger seat took a call on his mobile and I had to slow to 50 for him to hear the other person. I thought the seats were really uncomfortable after an hour or so and it was poorly spec’d for a mid range model. No cruise control really bugged me. The ride was very harsh as well.

My Mrs has a Mk6 golf S and while it’s also got quite a bit of road noise it’s nowhere near as bad as the new Octavia. Economy wasn’t great either, although it only had 200 miles on the clock so that may improve?

My car is an Insignia, not by choice, but it’s a much better drive and a nice cabin to sit in.

I did however like the DSG box so it wasn’t all bad!

Thanks for all the suggestions. Plenty to contemplate.

Jon I’d be grateful if you would let me know how you get on with the Wike trailer, thanks

Avoid new Octavia. Had a drive in one recently and it was awful. Way overrated IMO

Great thanks. No it doesn’t need to be a trailer at all. DrP something he can sit in would definitely be a better option, unfortunately his movement range will get worse in the not to distant future.

@wwwas – what is the bike in the bottom pic?

He had the good sense to leave Brum though 😀

Spud have a look at Scapa from Orkney. Not that common and like a mild Islay IMO. My favourite drop.

Can’t see past Sarries v Leicester for the Prem with Sarries to win. Hopefully Ulster will beat Leinster in Dublin to win the Rabo. That would be nice. SUFTUM

Good performance from Ulster, knew we were in the final after 50 mins and took the foot off the gas. Looking forward to a day out at the RDS!

    The proper Dr Jack…

They seek him here, they seek him there
    Those Frenchies seek him everywhere.

Does anyone remember the name of a late 80’s puppet or ventriloquist act that had a big round face, eyebrows like the bloke mentioned above and huge green eyes. He would have appeared on stuff like the variety show or sat night tv. Anyone remember this?

I’ve seen poor workmanship on all sectors of construction, not just housing. All contractors are looking to get finished as quickly as possibly and keep costs down. I feel that very few are actually keen to do as good a job as possible.

Often when issues occur the attitude is how can it be covered up until we get off site, then it is another persons problem.

Red trousers and wearing camo gear if you are not in the army

Thats possibly true. Rory suffered because Ryan was calling the lineouts in POCs absence and that really didn’t go well.

35 points for me, any better than that. I even got all the back row selections right. Woo Hoo me!

I’m amazed at how many Irish there are though given that they are were awful in the 6n’s….and their most consistent player wasn’t even picked!!

Tom a lot of the Irish selected were not available for all or large parts of the 6N. I feel for Rory Best but his throwing is just not good enough for a test hooker. Although that suffered due to POC’s absence in the 6N.

Indeed, it all starts now. Then the arguments will be about what test XV. Fantastic!

I think Woody had Ken Owens as his pick, he must see something there as well. No Farrell from Guscott

Yeah very pleased with that one loum, might be the end of Earls! If he can get Ireland playing like Leinster then I’d be pretty happy with that. he might even get BOD to keep at it for another year. I’d say Paddy Jackson might not be too happy though.

    You both forgot Keet Earls

    Don’t get me started loum!

I did forget about Robshaw actually. I still think he will go.

@ Dan, go for it mate, game rules can be made up as we go! Can BOD be my wildcard?

Anyone having a go is fine.

Everyone being dragged up is rubbish.

    In my experience.

This + 1. Nothing worse than forced entertainment. Get a good live band and people can freestyle as they please!

So what about a comp before the squad is announced tomorrow. Pick 38 players in any combination you want and nominate a captain. You get 1 point for each correct pick as named tomorrow and 5 points for getting the captain correct. The winner gets a bazooka joe and the bragging rights over all other contributors on the rugby thread.

    My squad:
Leigh Halfpenny, Rob Kearney, Stuart Hogg

George North, Tommy Bowe, Alex Cuthbert, Simon Zebo

BOD, Manu Tuilagi, Jamie Roberts, Jonathan Davies, James Hook

    Jonny Sexton, Owen Farrell

    Mike Phillips,Laidlaw, Ben Youngs

Gethin Jenkins, Cian Healy, Andrew Sheridan, Adam Jones, Dan Cole, Euan Murray

Richard Hibbard, Rory Best, Tom Youngs

Alun Wyn Jones, POC, Ian Evans, Joe Launchbury, Ryan Jones

Dan Lydiate, Tom Croft, SOB, Sam Warburton (c), Justin Tipuric

    Toby Faletau, Jamie Heaslip

Thought Munster were going to pull off a second half comeback. A lot closer than I expected.

@DD much closer than I expected, unlucky thought they might make a 2nd half comeback.

We had to nominate RDS for Rabo, construction work at Ravers not finished in time.
