Whilst we are on the subject who are your biggest penalty magnets, past and present?

The Claw Peter Clohessy and DOC.

Edit – The nightclub attached to Clohessy’s bar in Limerick is called The Sin Bin, well named in so many ways.

Andy Craig has scored a try against England.

No I haven’t (see email addy)

Hill was indeed the man in ‘that’ backrow.

But has he scored a try against england? If not he has failed to deliver!

Alas not. He must be crap 😆

He did score all the points beating the boks with a broken hand though

just a bit premature calling him world-class.

I don’t think it is. A winning Lions tour, 2 heine cups and a Rabo in 3 years is an excellent achievement. DC is the only flyhalf consistently better in the world IMO.

Ire team to play the crims

    Ireland: R Kearney; T Bowe, B O’Driscoll, L Marshall, F McFadden; J Sexton, E Reddan; C Healy, R Best, M Ross; D Toner, P O’Connell; P O’Mahony, S O’Brien, J Heaslip.

    Replacements: S Cronin, J McGrath, S Archer, M McCarthy, K McLaughlin, C Murray, I Madigan, R Henshaw.

DD will love the Lions scrumhalf being dropped for D4’s finest 🙂 At least that crap flyhalf Sexton has made the team, phew!

It’s the Orangemen that have to play in green that I feel sorry for. There’s an identity crisis for you.

lol – when we are playing England its even worse, Rory Best doesn’t know whether to sit/stand, sing the Queen or sing the sash!

Just got the Vax S2 last week and very impressed so far. Heats up in 40 secs and cleans easily and doesn’t leave the floors very wet. Would definitely recommend. You can get a damaged packaging one in amazon for £38 or so.

    Dave,

I can collect any evening before friday. Email in profile if this is suitable and I’ll pop round.

General purpose sand/cement pre bagged will use 1.8kg/mm thick/sqm

    so 1.8 x 25.4 x 9.4 = 429.76 kg / 25 = 17.19 so 18 bags

As above the Montane Prism is great, its all you need for walking and being on the move in winter, a down jacket will be overkill unless you are sitting about.

Also you wont look like this:

Alfabus, for you working away and decent sleep will be better. For your wife and child working nearer home and being around every evening will be better for them.

I am in a similar situation where I work away for 3 days every other week and my Mrs found it difficult on the 3 days I was away, especially as her family were quite far away. Although she did go to various clubs and made friends they ‘still weren’t family.’

We are expecting number two and have recently moved to within 5 mins of my wifes mother and sister so that she will have that family support when I am away. Unfortunately I don’t have the option of working from home all the time.

The other point to consider is that your baby will change on an almost daily basis and personally it is nice to be around more to see the child develop.

If I were in your shoes and seeing how difficult it can be for new Mums I would go with the stay at home option.

I feared that might be the case.

I got a new model Octavia as a hire car and when told at the desk that’s what it was going to be I was looking forward to driving it given all the reviews you read about them. But I have to say I was really disappointed.

My biggest gripe was the road noise, it was terrible particularly on the motorway. My colleague in the passenger seat took a call on his mobile and I had to slow to 50 for him to hear the other person. I thought the seats were really uncomfortable after an hour or so and it was poorly spec’d for a mid range model. No cruise control really bugged me. The ride was very harsh as well.

My Mrs has a Mk6 golf S and while it’s also got quite a bit of road noise it’s nowhere near as bad as the new Octavia. Economy wasn’t great either, although it only had 200 miles on the clock so that may improve?

I did however like the DSG box so it wasn’t all bad!

Having worked for Weber for 7 years I can tell you that Weber renders are made in the UK!

    Indeed. I don’t think I said it wasn’t. 😀
