I would have thought your cassette should be good for 600 miles easy.

are you not limiting your market by only MTB specific….why not road bikes…coffee & cake, advertise in local roadie clubs and they may use you as a cake stop and come back and buy a bike

I preferred the Bronson to the Solo. Didn’t feel confident in the front end which is more likely to be the fork than the frame. The guy said it would be better with a 140 revelation …not sure why they hadn’t built it with a set on?! He said it is a bit scitty but you have to ride it harder and push through that, not for me despite it being my first choice on paper.
I only test rode 650b bikes and I felt the Bronson and Carbine 275 were the best bikes closely followed by the Scott Genius.
The carbine and Bronson both use the same VPP system so for me with the Warranty on SC the Bronson has it.

my mate runs 11-36 (10 gears) with a 28 upfront but spins out on the flat, he found 32 too hard uphill so hes going to a 30. He’s a fit lad.

I would say for your riding the Anthem would be fine, 29er would be faster but arent they dead 😉

You may struggle for a 26″ unless specialised do one, I don’t think they have dropped 26″ yet

Have had a quick look at the recommended bikes.
Liking the look of the spearfish and the whyte m109.

Looking at the spearfish it suggests an XS for my height, could be difficult to get hold of. Charlie had a large on sale 🙁

My bikes are all 26″, a lot of guys in the 2 clubs I ride with have moved onto 29″ and seem to be faster than they were on 26″.
So really looking to stay with the pack really. I did think I may look like a kid on an adults bike but as its been stated a lot of the national women do ok on them.
Had considered 650b but was concerned I may buy a betamax when I should of had a VHS!
