Who is the courier? They do the delivery not Merlin.
They are located a stone’s throw from a huge RM depot, so they deserve credit for choosing that spot.

Not all the firms who use RM have the same rapid dispatch and delivery.

Unlike CRC who are the Royal Mail Depot!

much cheaper to use home insurance for bikes and as said snow card or dog tag for personal insurance. Also try BMC as they have pots of cash for medical treatment in these of places so less hassle with payments if you need to utilise their services

If you are unsure go down to your local independant tyre place and get some part worns on from Germany. They will be £25/£30 each fitted (always worth asking them for their best pair, refuse anything that looks crap, they always have more in the back but want to shift the junk first) and get a decent brand.

Once you have done this you will prob just run on winters all year as the loss of grip in the summer is way less than the equivalent gains in the winter.

Why not worry about all the shite and just inject higher up? Would be less hassle but may leave wall cool at base I suppose, but heat rises in any case so surely not a massive issue

Complain, stress how ridiculous you feel the bill is etc etc and I bet you get it reduced. Wife got one cut massively by doing it, but if you don’t ask you don’t get.

Alternatively tell them they can keep the cat!

Ah its a good thing, props the industry up, gives it some kudos and style missing from football a d if you don’t like it don’t buy it.

I owned a rapha jersey once, cost me £4 from a charity shop in holt, bet he was p1ssed when he realised. Best bit, sold it for £100 on eBay!

Lets hope some Cheshire housewives have some clearouts!

Make sure you choose the repairer and get it done at a main dealer. Some of the authorised repairers are shocking. Mine went to sapphire in manchester and they didnt even bother to unscrew the headlights, they just snapped the tabs off that held them on. Terrible job and lesson learnt!

When my wife had a bump I made sure hers went to a Mazda dealer and it was an immaculate job as you would expect, plus they did extra bodywork repairs for a nominal fee.

He was a very proud man last night!

In true Nello style, he got a pint out of me, invited himself round for a curry and told me I could be his agent! Nothing changes.

Great to watch it with him.

Keep your eyes peeled next week on BBC1 as they were filming a documentary on him last night, short notice thing but it seems to have taken the nation by storm, was even trending 1st on twitter last night.

Ask yourself the question, have you got your head screwed on? Because unless you are bleeding useless you wont struggle in todays market. There are plenty of jobs for people with experience as so few have been trained in teh last 7 years and a lot have retired in that time also.

If you cant find permanent work can you do contract work? Might up your earnings and give you extra skills.

Also, id pay off MOST of the mortgage, but not all. You can always release funds if you still have it but paying a big chunk off is the sensible thing to do and it will stop you getting lazy and thinking i dont need to look for work yet. If you do nothing for 3 years you will struggle to get back in.

Great opportunity though, lucky id say. Being made redundant was the worst thing (at the time) and the best thing (a few years later) that could have ever happened to me.

They also dont seem to track if you cancel a sale for reason “other” meaning if the buyer doesn’t respond in a week or clicks accept then you get the fees refunded

strangely no items sent by courier with tracking failed to make it. Also if you bought something and didnt receive it you would firstly want a refund, and secondly pleased that the seller was contacting the royal mail on your behalf to nab the dodgy postman.

Oh and yeah half the problem is the seller dashboard is so well hidden you forget about it until its too late

Maxxis is one of the best examples of marketing around.

You do all realise Maxxis is just a brand owned and produced by Chen Shin Tyres, yup, them crap tyres you had your bike as a kid.

Im really surprised no one has picked up CST Tyres as a brand in the UK as they are re-badged Maxxis tyres, or the other way round if you like and ok they have a different tread pattern but i bet there is some decent models in the range, plus you don’t pay Maxxis premium.

I picked up a folding 2.4 version off ebay for £4 delivered and can confirm, other than a different tread pattern everything else is identical, even the packaging

    bland

Yeah its not the wheel size ghats stopping the yeti sale, its the fact it will break and not have a warranty!

    Or

a few weeks after selling, go to resolution centre, open case, cancel sale for reason “other” and send.

Most click cancel, some question it where i just say apologies, i sent it to you in error, please ignore, some decline and most ignore it.

In all but decline cases you then receive a final value fee credit once you close the case after 7 days!

Cheeky yes but causes no issues and you can still leave feedback. So if it happens to you you know why, just click accept. Its a strength in numbers thing

Can you get away with 6 seats?

The honda FRV seats six and you have 3 isofix points in the rear, think its the only on to do so.

only get Maxxis EXO as they have rubber sidewalls as oppose to a a tiny coat of rubber on the side walls. Contis seem terrible for doing this too

What i dont understand is why they dont just create a second trail made from shavings and give you an option. Im sure even walkers prefer the natural option.

I had a right go at two chaps destroying the rangers path not too long ago. In fairness i didnt realise they were doing the work, i assumed they had stopped for a brew and i had a rant about more trails being ruined. Their argument was that teh trail had eroded and needed repairing. Utter bolox, it was down to the bedrock. People dont go to the hills for manicured trails at all.

We should form a vigilante operation whereby we block up the water channels and feed water over the trails to rejuvenate them.

Factoid for you. The UK didn’t get into recycling in such a big way a few years ago because it wanted to ‘do the right thing’. It was calculated that the UK was 6 years off capacity for landfill at the pre-recycling rate. 6 years off topping out the landfill sites.

Which is bull sh1t as most sites are closing with loads of void remaining as there is more competition for the waste and prices are driven into the ground. Landfills are great if well managed, free source of power for years and a masssively rich source or REE’s, however the government fail to mention the power generation side of things ever, instead build, or lose hundreds of millions coming up with plans to build waste to energy plants.

another system that is knackered is the self scan area when you buy deli items, it seems you can buy a slice of corned beef and stick a side of fillet in your bag as it cant do deli weights so reverts to null.

Dont complain about this one though please Jamie
