We have done trips in dec and march to Malaga (Belamadena) for the last few years, on teh cheap, 6 to 12 folk with our own uplifts.

Drop me a line if you want some pointers on how to do it cheap, that way you can go twice for a lot less than one organised trip.

I had M&S previously but our insurance is now with Halifax as is teh Mortgage. I was amazed that it was only an extra £85/year to insure 4 bikes with a cumulitive value of £9.5K, so in short, M&S may not be the answer as it aint cheap insurance

I have sent quite a lot of items to mags to review and MBR are generally the best at being impartial. Surf magazines are the worst for not reviewing things. They have a simple policy of not reviewing unless you have an advertising spend!

Speaking to Guy Kesteven (WMB), his biggest problem is getting the products to test, after all it depends upon distributors being on the ball and in good contact with the mags and often they aint so products dont get tested. Plus not everything can be tested.

This appears to be a really interesting thread that i would love to read but i think it will take about 3 weeks.

Any chance of a condensed post of what the general gist of making one is etc etc?

Home insurance? Mine are covered for damage away from home etc.

Alternatively get over it, accept that its a cocacola can in disguise and you didnt pack it well enough, afterall it sounds like the hub has done the damage, technically not easy jet or the baggage handlers?

WHo is behind this mag then? Heard about it and im sceptical to be honest at that price, will give the first ona a go bit first ones usually take a year to compile, by which poing the second is mostly done too and by the third the sh1t has hit the fan and you get loads of spelling mistakes and **** articles like happened with dirt when that started out

Most Londoners i know would love to be up North but cant face taking a pay cut from their over inflated salary nor the prospect of owning a place they live in that has stairs on the right side of the front door!

Wormstones is on the glossop hayfield road, take the track opposite the charlesworth road and climb till you see the trig pt, go to that and descend glossop way, naking sure to keep in the track on the right and not the flat route over the moor.

Its a bridlepath, tue afternoon type

Its for a prophet with a swinger 4 way or 3 way air.

I can bodge it with an old bolt and a nut as a spacer but thought id try get a new one, however is doesnt seem as straight forward as you would expect.

Its the unthreaded type i need, where the bolt screws into the inside of the rod that runs through the bushing thingybob, a bolt will make the shock knock so it needs to be pretty bang on

Any traffic film remover will do the trick, you can byy 1000 litres of it on ebay at like 25:1 concentrate for about £500, alternatively get a 5 gallon drum for about £25 from a good trade wholesaler of industrial type supplies.

Loads say its different to muc-off, im just not convinced by marketing and think its balls

Alternatively run Shimanos as everyone who has Avids either complains about them or fettles all the time, and theyre a pig to fettle too

Goodridge Hoses will make your brakes feel less spongey. I cant say why exactly, its just a science fact

    bland

    Whats the problem really?

Let them carry on, they will be gutted when they get flattened, they will put so many hours into building them and then someone who RIDES A BIKE comes along and complains, come on, you sound like a right grumpy old man.

You would have something to say if they were terrorising old people and breaking into cars, not playing in the woods.
