And I do feel for you paying that much for a flat when I have just bought a period 4 bed detached house surrounded by fields for 100k less! Unlucky

Find out what it was bought for from zoopla or similar sites, then use nationwide’s a house price index calculator which will show you what its worth according to market variations since the last sale.

However if its in London then all sense and reality goes out of the window, no ones your friend and it will prob end up in a bidding war and go for £325k

Who got the contract for the bike shop in the end? Last time I was there the old owners were waiting for the decision.

I must say it felt dated when I was last there easier this year. Granted it was wet but it was dead, and the trails just felt old and basic. I expect a trail centre to be fun, this was neither natural trail like not fun in relation to the newer centres, just felt it was losing appeal

Crime stats for the area can be useful to look at and also car insurance postcode risk rating as believe me living in an f* area is not something I’d ever do again. The money you could save on two cars insurance would go a long way on a mortgage.

We have just bought a new place, I’d decided I wanted it from right move but had to look at a few others to keep mrs b happy. Just have vision and buy somewhere you want to be not somewhere nicely decorated in a crap location, been there done it and you will never settle as you want the shit house in the nice place to get your teeth into!

‘furry muff. I never got on with the Orange Five but this Patriot. Well, if the new one has the same shorter top tube as the older Patriot (shorter than the Five) its a keeper.

    lets give it a month!

so when i went to Jamaica and left some smelly old trainers in teh hotel i was commiting an offence, get real!

If you are bothered, pick up some pile of sh1te and take it back with him, personally id not bother. Will he not be using it next time he comes….

Hazy shade of grey area, hardly top of priority list and no proof of what he brought

So what, any s/h car could’ve been abused. In fact I reckon the hire cars we use at work are less likely to be hammered than private cars, based on most of the folk that drive them.

I would strongly disagree, how many times do you find the rev limiter in your own car or do a bit of rallying?

sales tax isnt payable if its sent out of state is it?

Also if its secondhand then VAT isnt applicable, so get your bro to mucky it up a bit and send it insured for full 2nd hand value.

I think this will avoid all fees

But if Russia cuts gas to Europe then Norwegian gas will have a bigger EU market. Supply and demand will increase price even if Norway is able to replace the 34% or thereabouts of the EU gas supply that comes from Russia.
If Russia shuts off the gas supply then

    1. They loose money
    2. The worldwide gas price will rise. We (along with the rest of the world) will then pay a higher price for all our gas irrepective of its origin.

The fixation of “Russia” as something to be worried about is nonsense in this situation.

and we become a net exporter seeing as we are sat on 1300 million cube of gas and only use less than 3% of that per year

500K us gallons per well is teh water consumption i believe or thereabouts, not earthshattering 😉

Dont think its just the UK looking to do it to fill a void, which of course we are, quatar, dubai, scandanavia are all going to follow.

And you cant build a nuclear powerstation in a year unfortunately.

On the tremor front, largest experienced so far was 2.3, last year a 2.5 occurred in SOT due to a mine collapse and 3 people reported it…..

Hopefully we will set a benchmark on this country on the quality front and the world will look to the UK as an example

Or we just sack it off and build 100000 new wind turbines

Just had a couple of pints with one of the main brains in the UK on shale gas, really nothing to get upset about IMO, well unless you read the daily mail.

Bear in mind there will have been a big swell so quite a lot of sand could have been moved, work out the direction it would have been pushed from the wind a current and work down from there. At least if you try and fail you have it a shot

Take ear phones and a sieve too, plus it will be fun, you might find a golden doubloon!

Postcode is still the killer, £2500 for my accord tourer with clean liscence and 5yrs plus NCD because its an OL postcode.

Thankfully we will no longer reside in such a stupid postcode area after next month when the renewal is due.

    Check your postcode here

And remember, the postcode is where your car spends most of its time, so you could argue a work car park is the correct postcode if its lower risk, or your parents, or wherever really. How they prove you spend any/more/less time there is anyones guess.

Trick with insurance companies is to treat them like mushrooms (keep them in the dark and feed them shit)

think i got a decent deal, went for a higher rate after doing the sums but it was a £345 admin fee with £250 cashback and free valuation at 3.54% fixed for 5 yrs. Could have had 3.24% but came out more over the period.

I can see things changing pretty quickly to be honest.

Oh and got a broker to do me it free too, someone from a recommendation too as my friend who was going to do it free just happens to be on holiday after over two yrs trying to sell the place and it needs doing ASAP, typical but he was happy, give me this product and you get a £450 fee!

It’s an odd one that shop on deansgate, however they are the distributors so it doubles as a warehouse/trendy showroom, so their point is reall attracting the sort of rich prick that parks his Bentley on deansgate and displays his purchased blue badge!

So all the best to them, some idiot has to feed the secondhand market!

Accord seats fold flat and my army issue camp bed fits in, which helps as the load guard nets stick up so it lifts you up a bit. Nice big car, manifold cracked and replaced under warranty, rear callipers had to be replaced as they ceased, nicest of the 3 by a long shot. Overall Iike it but I’d prefer a 5 series.
Mazda 6 has a much nicer engine in the newer ones but not as big.

Mines an 07 ex in grey with Pentax alloys so looks the part if nothing else
