    Build a house
Have a place to clean bikes inside
    Do more cycle touring
    Ride on the moon

With a bit of luck and a lot of planning some of these should be within reach.

I will only be taking one bike with me when I move to Colombia with my wife in a few weeks. The other 4 and the unicycle will be going to live at my dads until we return 🙁

+1 For sierra cycling.com. I had a really good time when I was there a couple of years ago. Although I was there on my own If I had been there with a non biker there was plenty for them to do.

Mine is Titanium, I take it off when I do sports, mainly because I don’t want to loose it. Would fit under gloves but have seen to many photos and videos where I use to work of people getting there ring caught on something.

    you well?
Life is good for me…. not doing enough riding but am running so still trying to improve my fitness.

    kids ok?
Child is fantastic, brings sunshine into our lives everyday.

    partner ok?
Wife and I are slowly getting around the idea of moving to Colombia, still not sure when we are going yet but within 3 weeks at a guess.

Work, well I am going to be the full time stay at home dad soon which is a little scary but hopefully all will be well.

Hope everyone who is having a bad time at the moment manages to keep it all together, what goes around comes around.

My wife also has a Specialized Myka, 15″ frame. She is 5’4″ if that helps.

My wife has a cheap arm band very similar to that one and loves it. yes awkward to change songs but she says you get use to setting up playlists.
I agree with ^ enjoy the ambience 🙂

Yes Kennyp they are very difficult to fit, I did manage with plastic tyre levers though and a lot of swearing 🙂

I used Schwalbe Land Cruiser while cycle touring New Zealand, seemed to roll well and could cope with light offroad use. Others there were using the marathon tyre.
I’m sure both come in the size you require and be suitable for a hybrid.

I use schwable marathon guard plus, roll well and good grip, no punctures yet.

It depends how rough it is, I’ve used both a trailer and panniers, if it’s rough I prefer panniers, I didn’t find they caught on things. I was using blackburn rack on the back and old man mountain on the front. Will post some pictures later.

I have one and like it, my wife has a iPhone 3GS but I would not swap it. Camera is not the best and Android 2.1 has some problems(can’t view pictures in email when downloaded being the biggest) but 2.2 is coming…. one day.
Overall I don’t regret getting one.

In an oil and gas field the hydro carbons are stored in the pores of the rock, so even though it is called a reservoir it is not like a reservoir at surface.

So I was lucky enough to ride slickrock yesterday, I was on a hire bike which had 2.4 tyres nobbie nics and continental 2.4 mountain kings on.
The reason for so much water is the altitude and heat. The trail is at 1400m and it doesn’t rain so much there is also no shade on the slickrock trail.
    Hope you enjoy it

Just a 9km ride to try out the rebuild of the old winter bike in the rain. Bike seems good, my fitness has vanished must ride more once I get back from the USA. Wife and baby permitting.

When riding home on your little brothers bike and you go to pull a manual, ensure bolts were done up correctly otherwise you will see the front wheel rolling away from you and end up with a broken nose and broken teeth. A friend not me.

Did the 85km route almost, (less 5km) due to me being slow. Great time as always, fantastic people, rubbish weather. For all those on the 85km route pushing the top of the 3rd descent was not so much fun. Thanks to all the marshalls who stuck it out at the gates through the wind and rain 🙂

I have the map on my Garmin Nuvi 200 and my 705. Navigation on the 705 works but due to size and lack of touch screen its not as easy to use a the normal satnav. Its also a pain to type out whole addresses. Still works though or seems to.
    Hope this helps.

didn't get one from Lidl, however I do have a Unicycle.

I can't ride it very well and it was a long time ago since I was riding it.

My tips would be practice, practice, practice. I learnt after some research on the Internet, youtube has some good tips. Somewhere with a post to help you get on at the start and a big open space, carpark, school playground, playing fields if they are smooth.

note, you will fall off (well I did), most of the time you land on your feet however the unicycle does shoot off away from you.

    Hope this helps.
    Enjoy it.

So I am doing it this year to give me something to do. I don't always have good photos and do end up editing in picasa, too cheap for photoshop.

Just out of interest how many photos have you been taking? Just did a quick count and I have so far taken over 2500 😯

We will just have to see how it goes.

Favourite so far is this one.

    Full collection here.

My fiancée has a pair of these although she is now riding clipped.

    Pearl Izumi

We got them in the States not sure where stocks them in the UK.

Edit, the main reason she likes these is because they have purple on them, she does say they are comfortable and good if walking off the bike.
