I have them, I think they are fantastic. Fairly easy to fit just follow instructions and make sure you have good cable cutters.

I’ve used the P90x yoga and stretch sessions, good but hard. If you can put up with the accents.

Nokia 5140i if you can get hold of one, they are a bit old now and the camera is best described as rubbish but meets the other requirements.

I had a similar problem, I took the brake off and cleaned it using some wd40, don’t get on the pads. back on and worked fine, for me it was due to a build up of dirt as I wasn’t using mud guards.

Someone on the other thread mentioned that the police were only interested if the value of fraud was above £5000. That is shocking. It is theft without a shadow of a doubt. It really frustrates me, these people will keep doing it as long as there is no consequence which there doesn’t seem to be.

Thanks for clarifying that beej. Now I wonder if that means 02 will be able to help catch the right people or if we have no hope. 🙁

blades2000 – but to use 02 you have to have card details. Have you read the entire thread?

Nope, not read the entire thread however the article I linked to suggests that they don’t need a card number as these are only computer generated, ie they generate there own numbers and test them out. Therefore all I was suggesting was that It may have been the case that CRC was not hacked however further posts seem to indicate they might have been.

Thanks for informing all of us. We can now only hope that the culprit/s are caught.

Just out of interest what setting are people using to take these photos. I have never had any luck while taking photos of the moon or stars.

If they are ordering pizzas does this mean the police will find out where they live and they will get some sort of justice served to them?

    Edit, beaten to it

    Hmmm,
I’ve not been through all the pages but I have had my Bank Card Details stolen. 🙁 Visa Debit incase you were wondering.
15gbp was taken and used to top up a pay and go 02 sim card, somewhere in London.
I am not sure if it was CRC that lost the details. Fraud guy at RBS said that there are many ways they can get your card details.
I have passed my information on to CRC, who knows it may help them catch the thief that did this.
Hope everyone else manages to get their money back and getting your new card is not to difficult.

In future I will try checking out with paypay, I think that is safer but honestly I am not sure 🙁

Could it be that your seat is a fraction to high? Most people have one leg that is a slightly different length to the other, I found I was over extending when I first tried SPD.

This was taken while in the USA, I rented a lens Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 which was fantastic. I just couldn’t justify spending that much money on one at the moment for the use I am getting from the Camera (Nikon D90).

I had a similar call earlier today. I told him that I was not sure which computer he was talking about and when he couldn’t confirm any information I politely informed him that I was using Linux as an operation system. He hung up on me 🙁

I am quite sad that I only managed to keep him on the phone for 5 min, I was hoping to try for 1 hour with some really silly questions like you see in those IT help emails.

I am pretty sure he was up to no good, though I am not sure what he was trying to do.

When I toured New Zealand (6years ago) I was really struggling with this. At the time the airline policy was two items. I was flying via the USA to get most luggage allowance.

Luckily for me bike did not need to go in a bag so.
Bike to airport, turn handle bars and zip tie to cross bar. Remove rear mech, chain and pedals.
zip tie quick releases closed just in case and let air out of tyres.

I then put three of my four panniers in a bag with my tent I used a large rucksack cover. The fourth pannier I took on as hand luggage with my helmet.

At the time I didn’t encounter any problems with this solution however it really depends on the airline you are flying with.

I met people in while touring who arranged storage of a bike box while they were touring then simply repacked it to go home.
