This has been sidelined since the passportes so it’s good to have finally got all the new parts onto the frame. I’m looking forward to the weekend.

As above. Look into IR35 and be confident you would fall outside of this for each individual contract. I’m guessing if you were just to go from perm to contract at the same company without a break the hmrc would still see you as an employee.

I hope it does work out, I have a 160 pike going on mine this week 🙂 I’ve met a lot of people running 160 forks with a 140 shock with no issues.

If you pay more out on dividends and spend out more on items that could reduce your profit there’s less corporation tax to pay. Brackets remain the same but you could pay less on tax.
Well, that’s true obviously. But isn’t really what was said earlier.
He said that breaching the higher rate threshold reduces your take home pay.
And obviously, anyone earning that amount would know that it doesn’t
Someone who doesn’t understand tax bands, might think that it does though.

Understand-sorry off topic. I focussed on the accountant part. You wouldn’t necessarily pay more out earning more on a paye basis but there are definitely advantages by going ltd and an accountant is involved. A good accountant that is. 🙂 cheers.

I’m guessing someone works under their own ltd company now rather than be a permanent employee.
    Doesn’t really matter.
That’s still not how tax bands work

I find that once you go through the upper tax band at £150k it decreases your take home so much it’s just not worth it any more.
That’s why I changed my arrangements to take more of it as benefits. The joys of having an excellent accountant to sort these things out.
Your accountant is shite if you increased your salary through the upper tax band, but decreased your take home.
I would sack him and employ someone who understands how tax works.

    Same as Ski.

Is the thought of not being able to compete on a financial level creating a certain level of anxiety and self doubt?

You need to listen to your self and take your own tips on board and repeat them 🙂

“The thing is I know in reality we do alright as a family (wife, daughter and myself) and most people would strive for our life. We both work, live in a nice area, we can pay the bills and spend a little, we have some goods times and we have our health.”

Concentrate on you and your family for a while and pay attention to the little details and capture them. Don’t imagine the end result of anything.

The issue is when we’re down we listen to the bad thoughts and habits are hard to break. They can be broken it just takes time.

    As Samuri said.

I’ve used iPhones for 4 years and then switched to the htc.

The build quality is not quite there compared to the iPhone but thats being really picky. A decent case will mask the slightest of gap between screen and frame though.

It’s coming across as if its you and your girlfriend against the boy. Be there for him, include him in conversations, talk and listen. Get him back on side and act as equals in the family.

Similar wheel and riding situation I was in a few weeks ago and I ended up with mavic sx wheels but while looking I took width and tubless into consideration, i’d moved from zesty to slackline. Extra width provides the better footprint and I can run a lower tyre pressures which softens things out, which I need 🙂

Just picked this up at the weekend.

    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=974171&categoryId=229901&langId=-1

Mines in the garage on a thick mat (not the one that came with it) and the noise/drone is only an issue when performing the sprints at 35mph+

First trainer I’ve bought and easy to assemble and use.

On an old rp2 it was definitely worthwhile. They played with the compression using shims so I was able to run less air without using all of the travel, it made it more compliant over the smaller stuff.

In response to ed yes you can mate I’ve just done the same with the homehub, no problems.

Use the instructions sns has put up.

Personal preference but I use separate ssid as devices wont automatically swap to the device with the strongest signal (i think)just so you know where you’re connected to.

Thanks, the bolts have holes in where the wire feeds through and thought they actually mean it this time.
Pete, these wheels and rotors should transform the bike. Thanks again. Just need a new rear tyre now. Was using advantage but tempted by the mavic roam just not certain how strong they are. Cheers.

I’ve bought pads and grips from these guys for a long time with no problems. You can tell from the website its not a huge company so not sure I’d want to risk buying bigger items.

40 and just recently swapped most parts over from a tricked up Zesty to a Slackline 631. It’s more physical and I’m finding it more fun too.
