Hi, cycled shock and it’s holding air. I’ve left the settings to default for now but was planning on adding lsc for when peddling. I’ve added about an extra 20psi air to have the correct sag and I thought it would be less? Is this right?

My better half has a 1.5 ntec so mpg is good and no issues with running it but mind your head on the boot when’s it open. It’s stupidly low…
I’m on my second Ford kuga which is a lot better ‘) but the boot could be bigger.

I’ve had mine built up since December and really enjoying it. There’s a noticeable difference between the settings, in a good way.

Hi mate, originally it was a shimano bb90 bb running xt cranks so presume slx will be ok. When I first went 1 x 10 i used the middle ring which was a 32 and a mech with a clutch which worked well.

Thanks, sounds like I’m in the right area. I’ll take another look on Tuesday but will probably end up in hankley again 🙂

I’m looking forward to a lap of the hills tomorrow morning followed by a burger at the hatch.
Slightly off topic, teamhurtmore do you know where the dh trails are in the punchbowl?

With a new physical box I’d stil install ms onto it then vmware workstation or player to then create vm’s on. Install esxi within the vm’s, then install vm’s within the virtual esxi boxes… To use the microserver as one esxi box is a waste of resources when you could install many vm’s and freenas onto it, you would then have the opportunity to create rdm’s which you could then use for sql clustering.

Ms products are good for 180 days and vmware are 60 days.

Another for gravitate cycles and I’m based in the south of the country. Top service via the phone, all credit to them.

VM, hope the off wasn’t to bad mate – I was at BPW Saturday gone on the orange rune with my mate on the Nukeproof. It was my first time there with it and it was a cracking day, all of the trails were running well.

Another fan here of the A470 🙂

    The Banshee’s are solid bikes.

Make sure you’re happy with the bike in every way then work on your skills in technical sections and corners?

A more skillful rider can overcome the lack of fitness. A fit rider won’t necessarily make it around that next corner 🙂

Thanks it sounds like a great frame. Good luck with the planned races.

Superfli is yours the 2014 rune? My 2012 spicy is about that weight you’ve quoted and I’m looking to swap parts to the rune 2015 so imagine the weight will go up! Tell me again it does climb well when needed:)

The banshee rune got my vote and an XL is available. I’m looking forward to building mine up.

Thanks. Looks like the rune is more progressive so it does use a larger air can.

Frame and xv can ordered today 🙂

There’s a couple of us again staying in les gets. Cant wait… Flying this year after last year though. I was that knackered on the way home I ended up paying for fuel that belonged to another car, as well as mine!
That section from avoriaz (sp) to morzine was spot on.

Hi, I saw this post last night having just visited my dad in hospital. Not scare mongering but his symptoms started with what you have experienced.
Get yourself checked out for peace of mind if anything. Cheers

Holmsbury and Pitch route for me tomorrow then. I think I would end up getting lost so will have to put this off for when I have longer than a morning 🙂

Thanks for the info and pointers, appreciate it.

    Cheers.

Appreciate this, thanks I can follow this now. I’ve parked up at the scout hut previously then headed up to the top Holmsbury hill. I wasn’t sure if I could bank a left at the top of the hill but I will be able to find it now from GW BW.

Only if I can work out where to start from on the trail will I be going so will head to FB, I’m not going to undo any hard work.

    Cheers,

If I google it is Greensand Way Holmsbury side?

    Thanks,

I was hoping to bank left at the top of Holmsbury and find my way 🙂

This sounds like a plan. Greensand Way, past High Ashes farm and up the main track to the Tower.

Where does the beginning section start from?

    Thanks,

Some very nice bikes out there.

Couldn’t resist. It’s gradually turning into a Spicy, just saving for a CCDB 160 and we’re there.

Thanks, think I may go down in the near future as fairly local. Last time I was there it was just a couple of trails. The stuff out the back was good though 🙂

Have you thought about that new (40) gear from on one?? That fits on the cassette.

Holmsbury early doors was great in the sun and dry considering what it’s been through. It’s been a long time since I was last there.

Fair play Gee. Do you know what pitch is like, apart from Evian are there any other trails left over that way? Hoping to get back over there tomorrow 🙂

I’ve got a roam on an sx rim at the moment and it’s been problem free. Currently running it at 16psi and it’s given just about enough grip in these lovely conditions.

Thanks, I’ll try the inner tube trick to get them on and bed them in.
Does a single ply HR settle in the same way? The beadings not as stiff but can the sealant and inner tube trick work in the same way?
    Cheers.

Les Gets on the Friday 🙂

Good advice above. Last year we had to drive around to collect passes then free wheel it down from Les Gets to Morzine to collect last pack and go – eventually set off gone 10. Manged to catch the last bus back from Morzine to Les Gets with seconds to spare, didn’t fancy that hill back up!

Just looked and tickets from Les Gets\Morzine Fri\Sat sold out…

Must be bad luck. Is the 714 carbon? The 2012 models had issues with cracking but the 2013 rectified the faults, from what I’ve seen anyway.

I bought the Roam last year and configured the config file so it believed it was the roam 2 which then gave 60 fps rather than the 30fps. I was led to believe the hardware is the same on both cameras and this is more like a firmware update. Google’s your friend 🙂

Great picture quality but have found the sound is a little lacking, not a major issue though.

Just purchased one and very happy with it. Great fit and quality but it’s not 100% breathable.

Royal Mail go more on size rather than weight. I recently posted some bars and the weight wasn’t an issue but the length of them was.

Another for the pikes 160 26″, they’re plusher and cheaper and hold up well.

The Ford Kuga, I’m on my 2nd 163bhp at the moment. 20K will get you all of the toys you want and the 4×4 (if you can call it that 😉 always gets me to the remote places. Run a tuning chip and it’s not bad 🙂

My 2013 revs use a straight steerer and are stiffer than my 2012 fox tapered rl forks. I’d say the legs and straight thru axle would make the fork stiffer.
