No idea. Believe there are 25 clicks in the low range so not quite 2 from min/Max but still they are both at opposite ends.

Maybe they are ideal for more DH?

Cheers mugboo. Just curious if there are any bikes running very low LSC, I think running lsc with 5 I’m not going any where fast.

The low psi with the quick lsr makes sense but stomping on a 34 front ring with a low LSC must equel bob 🙂 I’ll find out tomorrow, just curious if I will end up winding up the LSC again or have I been missing a trick-probably!

Are your LSC/lsr settings in a similar range?

It does look like the rebound setting’s are quoted from max.

Yep, i arrived at the original setting’s after trial and error. All in 76kgs.

I’m guessing the lsr is still in the fast range but LSC will be lower so guessing there will be more plushness and pedal bob! Will be interesting to see anyway.

    Running 105psi.

    Cheers

I’ll find out tomorrow if they’re OK or not 🙂 this is for the rune also, it was serviced back in may so the settings would have been around for a while.

Currently running a large and small spacer with following settings all set from min.

    Hsc 2
    HSR 2
    LSC 15
    LSr 15

    New settings.

    Hsc 1.5
    HSR 1.5 from Max
    LSC 5
    Lsr 6 from Max

So there’s a big difference between the old and new ls settings.

I looked at these a while back. Apparently if towing anything you need to have speced another engine/coolant fan otherwise the engine warranty is in doubt?

Are you looking for new or 2nd hand bargains?

I know of quite a few people who have ended up with that bolt snapping. Myself included.

Is that a mk2 frame? Gutted. Hope it all works out.

Check to be certain you get all of the parts included if you go for the RC2. I received my fork today and the 20mm axle skims were missing…

175 on the HT. 165 on the FS mainly for pedal strikes but it gets up to speed quicker too.

To me that curve in the seat post tube is just to much to begin with.

Hope you get a replacement sorted soon mate.

    Thanks.

TeamHurtmore, I slid all the way down 🙂

I’m going to have to think this one through. 41 yrs of age here and having used the slackline on Pitch in Surrey Hills where I ride the most I couldn’t figure out why I should keep the rune. Apart from the odd braking bump (which reminded me to correct my foot positioning) I didn’t miss the rear travel. I know I would in Wales and the Alps though and that’s the modern world problem.

I think Ti frames are a game changer and I guess I just want the one bike.

    Cheers

It’s the one on the slight hill just up from hankly carpark?

Thanks for the directions (again) and link, I’ll hope to find them during the week.

Hi where are the bomb holes at hindhead are they easy to find? I think I always end up asking you where local trails are ? I quite regularly ride the hinhead/hankly route now, I think I have trig tumble down to 16 seconds. Cheers

Yesterday we witnessed a couple hitting Evian on a tandem, that looked extreme!

If the bushing was worn then you could fit the axle by hand. You’ll need a tool or hammer to fit the axle when using new bushes.

I’ve been running a 2.4 trail king since November, it’s quick and strong but sidewalls are huge so I’ve found the grip vague in the natural stuff.
A DH HR super tacky is going on the front tomorrow, I’ll just have to man up when needed.

The tokens didn’t fit when I looked into this a while back. Have they released different ones now?

    bitterlemon

I’ve had mine for a year and they’ve been faultless. I’d say the solos could be better as you can add the tokens, I had to turn to tft for a custom tune as the duals don’t accept the bottomless tokens.

For the quick cross country runs being able to drop the fork works well. It’s a versatile fork.

Cheers I did think about swapping them over as stock seems limited for 26, I’ll have a read.

    Thanks

Thanks, are TR tyres available for old school 26″ wheels? I like the sound of the exo models but I run about 15 up front so not sure if non tr versions would loose air or not.

An hour in and I’m still looking – decisions decisions 🙂

I have a pair of the HR DH which I’ve used on and off for a few years, they’re both non ust so always eventually lost air. But thanks though you’ve both reminded me why I eventually took them off when I returned, they weigh a ton!

Are you running the maxxis exo tubeless – do they seal ok?

If you’re weight training stay heavy to build muscle as muscle burns fat. Cardio wise SS before breakfast for 45-60 minutes, how many times depends on what you can manage. When you’re fit enough to perform hiit try and add a couple of evening sessions too. As an alternative look at kettlebells?
Or try my recent program and develop man flu with resting rate of 160 – it appears to be working.

Thanks for the info. I’ve paid for the year so I’m there early Saturday but planning on visits after work during the weeks.
    Have a good one Chris.

2015 rune owner here and haven’t experienced any creaks, it’s a lot quieter than my old lapierre 🙂

A couple of pivots worked loose though so I’ve had to use a little thread lock which has sorted it.

    Both tubeless
    Front Conti MK 18psi
    Rear spesh ground control 24psi

I do find the MK to bouncy though, the sidewalls are to big for me.

It sounds like the amount of air should have been higher to begin with, I’ll be giving tft a ring on Monday asking for some advice. Cheers

We’re staying at the le boomerang/les gets for the ppds again for the 3rd year running. It has a nice relaxed vibe to it.

Really, it’s ok to bottom out on the harsher stuff. I thought the extra travel would be better? Even if that’s ok why would I now need a higher pressure to achieve the same sag, can they become a bit sticky?
Thanks for all the input, I just find this one a bit strange. Cheers

Reading the last post may be something was up to begin with. Different bike taken into consideration but I was running 75psi and I’m 80kg. Sounds like it was sticking, it feels totally different now…

    bitterlemon

I presumed the same so can’t understand why more air is required for the same sag. When I originally increased the hsc just by a little I couldn’t get full travel so thought I would add the spacer to make it more progressive.
I’ll take it out tomorrow to ensure its properly cycled.
