Sounds like a perfect excuse to buy a cheap second hand frame and build up a bling pub bike to me.

Unfotunately there are sometimes issues with the stock levels in that the web says they have stock but the store doesn’t. You shouldn’t of been sent confirmation unless they had picked the order for you though. On a lighter note though nice to hear roulercoaster I used to work at the preston store, glad everything went well for you

Mark at Mtbbatteries, sent him an email at 11.15 last night (Sunday), not expecting a reply until sometime today, he replied in 10 mins. Pretty impressed with that

Thanks again for the replies, i was a bit dubious about using this forum after reading some of the comments on other forums, but i like it you seem like a nice helpfull and friendly bunch, i’ve decided to go with an inbred as its cheap enough for me not to be too worried if i dont get on with it, and i’m just about to put my order in 😀

Thanks for the replies, I get what some of you are saying about riding position, but I’ve decided on getting a new frame ad my current bike is quite big and really doesn’t give me much confidence on technical sections so i’m wanting something a bit smaller and chuckable, my budget will be around £300 and I would like something that will be fine with 100mm travel forks as that is what will be going on it until I can afford to upgrade the forks

Mate, the best bike in the world is the one thats in your house/garage/shed, because its your bike and you can ride it whenever you want, you said you took it round cannock and it was good so dont worry what other people think of it, just upgrade bits as and when you see fit/things break, and get out and enjoy yourself
