I’ve still got my ’94 Marin Indian Fire Trail. Bought 2nd hand at 6 months old for 750, I think they were 1100 new.

Strings of campervans heading up the A9 so people can social distance together in places where there’s no ICU beds at all.

    They better not get sick…

Out round local roads on saturday and sunday. Soaked to the skin on saturday, sunday better but still had to shelter under a tree while a heavy shower passed.

Starting from Fortingall ride up Glen Lyon. At Invervar cross to the other side of the river and follow the track to Bridge of Balgie. Over the Lairig Ghallabhaich to Carie on Loch Rannoch. Follow the road east to East Tempar then the track over the west side of Schiehallion to Blar na Feadaig bothy. There’s about a mile of hike/bike SE to pick up the track back to Fortingall

Is the Polaris AM Enduro fully windproof or is the upper back a different material?

47-55 depending on how much town driving. That’s on the dash display so maybe knock a couple of miles off for the true figure. 1.4TSI

Interested in this too as have family in Lowick. Visits are to see them so don’t usually take the bike but would be good to explore more.

Obviously I am in a minority as BMW no longer make an RS – ie small full fairing and tucked riding position

Were you getting good reception with Plusnet? There’s a deal with them via Uswitch, 9GB for a tenner.

Did it a few years ago on a compact and 34t cassette. Tough climb and was chuffed to make it up (fifty, fat, unfit).
Rode a loop from Torver, Broughton, Ulpha, Birker Fell(?), Hardknott, Wrynose, Coniston, Torver.
