I had this late last year. Picolax followed by flexi camera the next morning and barium enema in the afternoon. Oh what fun. Hospital staff were excellent though.

The cat we had when I was a kid would drag her paw down the venetian blind
to wake my folks and be let out. She would also flick the letterbox cover so we’d
answer the door and let her in.

It’s not just top end power that can benefit from a more open pipe. Mid range torque can go up a fair bit too as bikes are often tuned to get through noise tests at those revs.

I had a few days at Glenshee last winter. First time skiing in 20+ years and didnt have any gear. Wore my goretex motorbike jacket and trousers which were fine.

Another one for the list, Glas Tulaichean (1051m) from Spital of Glenshee

Glas Tulaichan can be made into a three summit round trip. When I do it, I’ll post on here as it has great potential when the weather is nice.

Went and did this one (just Glas Tulaichean) shortly after posting back in november. Found the climb up from the ruined lodge hard going … 100m > breather > 100m > breather …

the signs have been there for a while that she was interested in a ‘normal’ relationship and it is only after my insistence that I wasn’t, that she has come up with this idea. Doesn’t really tie in with what I know about her and smacks of ‘getting a foot in the door’

Backmuir wood and Dronley wood. Close enough that you can do them all.

We hired a car (Merc A class) for 8 days in Germany last month with Europcar for £215. Did wonder about going via the brokers but wasn’t too sure and didn’t know anyone who’d used them.
The excess with Europcar was E800 8O (for an extra £50 it could be halved) but found out you can get policies against rental excesses and we got cover for £17 with http://www.carhireexcess.co.uk

Did this too about 10 years ago. Just thought I’d given myself a hard knock so didn’t go to the hosp or doc and tbh didn’t notice the lump till much later. It’s never given me any trouble since.

Almost always alone on the mtb. Road rides 50/50 alone/with a mate.

1991. I went along with a mate when he bought his first mtb. Thought it looked fun so bought one myself the following week.

Avoid soap, use emulsifying ointment instead then 50/50 afterwards. And see your GP about steroids.
Mine reached a point in the 90s where I ended up in hospital for three weeks :( The above (in huge quantities) plus UV treatment sorted it eventually.
