They are doing Scottish Taxpayer notifications at the moment. Might be something to do with that. Probably have crappy data. It’s single sheet of paper in a brown A5 envelope with a NE98 1ZZ return address.

Two addressed to me and sent to my Mum’s. I’ve not lived at that address since 1994 :?

Then as we were coming through Attercliffe, Bohemian Rhapsody, by Queen, came on the radio
Everyone was singing the words and rocking out in the back of my car, it was like a Wayne’s World moment

Has anyone got experience of living with a cat whilst being allergic?

Some breeds are less likely to cause a reaction, Devon Rex etc

Yes, hundreds of motorbike and car magazines going back to the 80s. Loads of other random crap and no floor space left in the spare room.
Also I don’t find it easy meeting or speaking to folk which means I don’t sell stuff on when I get a replacement so I’ve now got 7 bikes and 5 motorbikes. The garage is rammed and there’s no space to work on anything.

New or used? The 1.2 had a timing chain which caused problems or rather the tensioner did. It was changed to a timing belt around 2013.

I’m needing front tyres and was thinking of thinking about trying Michelin Cross Climates http://www.evo.co.uk/features/15600/michelin-cross-climate-vs-winter-and-all-season-tyres

I’ve had bikes for over 30 years and the one thing I’ve tried to avoid is using them for commuting. I think that’s a way to quickly tire of them. Same with cycling to work, I only do it occasionally during the summer. Motorbikes and pushbikes are for weekend fun :D

I’m still keen to drive a 1.4 Leon TSI or Golf, but knowing the wife she’ll see this a a pointless waste of time and not worth the premium the VAG cars will doubtless command

Not long back from a week’s holiday to Switz, Austria, Italy. Our hire car was the new Fabia 1.2 TSI, just the 90hp version and it coped no probs with proper hills/passes. Granted there was just two of us and not much luggage but still impressed. Was getting 5L/100km according to the dash display which works out about 56mpg even on those roads.

The auto stop-start doesn’t seem to know about this either

Wondered about that too. Just back from hols and our hire car was a 1.2TSI with stop-start.
