It was fab I was the slow girl on the singlespeed and some really friendly racers were great letting me know they were passing, although one twerp did swear at me on sponge bob!
Well done to all that rode it I enjoyed the four hours!

Not sure how i feel about this….I do like the freedom of cutting in via Barrossa aqnd riding anywhere, however, a lot of riders are new to this and do not have the skill to look up on the two way trails causing a lot of stop starting so maybe one way is safer??!
i agree with gee that the top of surrey hill is ruined I used to love riding it but frankly avoided it on Sunday as it looked horrendously messy and torn up, a bit of work is desperately needed there, but I’m not sure they will be interested in fixing it…

really enjoyed it solo and thanks to everyone who encouraged me as they zoomed past, gr8 music too, did my 8 laps and have defo got the buzz back after years of metal knees and being critically ill when pregnant, not sure what my little one will think about the trailer doing some enduro training lol!! The girls who cheered at olympic ridge were really fab and its nice to do an event where u can ride at your own pace, well done Gorrick gr8 course too!!

Swinley clearly dont want riding on there considering they have banned trail maintenance….A rigid SS is clearly the minimalist way to go there especially in the winter 😆

CG knows my feeling on the situation, I think we are all fighting a losing battle as clearly the crown estate do not value or care about the mtb potential at swinley. They don't even close trails to allow repair nowadays so like I said no win situation, bear in mind we are extremely lucky in this area as there are masses of other trails in the surrey hants borders to ride that are just as good as swinley and a quarter as busy!! My attitutude is that I rarely ride swinley now as lots to ride elsewhere!!

The charge saddles are very ladies friendly for a budget, i would also recommend wtb do some thinner saddles at the more expensive price range
