    Enduro Fork seals

I'm not sure if they've changed the recipe but in the last couple of years it was proper rubbish when I used it. Went through a couple of bottles and never got it to seal properly. This was using Bontrager UST rims with Bontrager TR tyres and using a Bontrager rim strip. Bought Wheel Milk and haven't had any problems.

I've been running them for a couple of years and I'm really surprised when others say they lack power, I have to echo rj's comment when he says they can lock the wheel out almost instantly and in any occasion, I'm probably about 14st in riding gear and run 180 front and 160 rear.

Except for the rather major problems of having the brakes from the dodgy batch (the wrong material used in some internal components) which was sorted by Propel they've been faultless.

Rock Oil Chain Wax – it's a MX chain wax, only used it for two rides but impressed so far. Excluding the wax the best lube I've used has been Purple Extreme

Make your own? That's what I'm doing when I use up the remains of my wheel milk – lots of recipes out there

I've seen Audis mainly. They only seem to do them in black though, you'd think you spend all that moolah on an aspirational german motor you could choose more than one colour.

Echinacea does not prevent Common Cold

"Of the 19 comparisons testing treatment of colds, 9 showed a significant effect compared to placebo, and six, no difference. "

Thems not bad odds. I think I'll get some

I used to be a KoS adherent, I've started using olive oil instead and it's every bit as good.

Mountain Morph – I bought 3 different other pumps because I didn't want to lash our the £26 or whatever that a mountain morph cost – they were all crap (generic Topeak Mini pump, the abomination of the pull thingy pump, and a Crank Brothers one, actually this one wasn't too bad). It's a great pump if a little big but fits in my hydration pack with no probs.

I got interested in a dry lube after seeing the ad for the pedros stuff in a recent ST, then I saw the price. So I thought why not check out some MX stuff which I did and bought Rock Oil Chain Wax Review Can’t really recommend it yet as I’ve been a lazy arse on the maintenance/degreasing front.

wOOt for NHS dentistry – got an appointment yesterday, the extremely competent seeming (he was posh, all posh people are competent seeming) dentist filled the hole with some filler and set it with UV light(must be some amazing chemistry behind that) and all seems as good as new, although there is a possibility that the root may be dead :-(
