    Wash with Fairy non bio

Try pure soap flakes instead. Normal washing detergents contain wetting agents which have the express purpose of prevent water from beading off the surface.

Thanks I'll give it a go

I've got a Fox something or other jacket made from Entrant something or other and have a similar problem, in that it just wets through in even the lightest rain. Wash with Fairy non bio reproof with grangers wash in stuff and cook in tumble drier for half an hour – doesn't work.

I don't even wear it on the bike that much

"Besides there are many situations when multiple viewing from multiple angles still does not provide a substantive conclusion."

I think you'll find that there are even more situations where it does.

That would do wonders for the flow of the game, lets all stand around for 5 minutes while we argue whether that was a free kick/penalty/corner whatever.

I actually agree with the FIFA dictat on this one, part of the beauty of the game is that it's played to the same rules everywhere, Hackney Marshes to World Cup finals.

    "well done Tel"

Lovely technique though, non? The way he just cut it back for Gallas to knock it in, peachy.

Its got nowt to do with breaking the 'flow' of the game. It works perfectly well in rugby and other sports. I'd very much like to see it implemented. Divers should get a immediate red card and a 5 match ban. It beggars belief that cheating is encouraged in football.

Arrant nonsense, rugby doesn't flow, neither do cricket or NFL.

Besides there are many situations when multiple viewing from multiple angles still does not provide a substantive conclusion.

It was handball but may I applaud the magnificence of the execution, quite brilliantly done, well done Tel.

An even cheaper option maybe just to re-grease. I was in exactly the same boat as you and have even got around to buying a Hope BB + adaptors but thought I'd give a re-grease a go, lifted the seals and packed those mofos full of grease (a strangely satisfying job). Have been perfect for 3 months.

If you're coming into Euston and going to the Garrick afters I have to concur that Kensington is a stretch. The British Museum is great but not so sure for a 4yo – although the building itself is aces

I've got a Met head and in my recent experience Specialised and Giro fit very differently to Met helmets. Certainly all of the 3 Met helmets I've owned have been very well vented

I just tubelessed some Mavic 719tn (the 29er version of the 719 rim) using some bog standard electrical tape to cover the spokes. Some of THIS STUFF to make a better seal, some old Bontrager valves and using Bontrager ACX TR (tubeless ready) tyres – went up first time with a track pump – go me!

If I was in your shoes I'd prolly go for 819s which give you the option to run UST (ie "proper" tubeless) rather than just ghetto/stans sealant route.

If all the stations you want/need from DAB are on Freeview/Freesat then maybe a Freeview box – bitrates are higher (actually not as much as I thought)

If this is to be believed

I like it overall and totally agree with the bensales stuff above.

I have to agree with solamanda's comment above re the "shore" pictures,I think maybe a lot of beginners would open the site, and think woah that's not for me – maybe a more generic "bike riding" picture instead?

We put ours in any old bin or fertiliser bags we have lying around. Pop a couple of holes in the side of the bags and tuck them away in a corner of the garden to be used as mulch or compost next year. The tomatoes came up a treat in it this summer.
