I've been using the Bonty valves for years with no problems, although I think their time has come

    Ghetto tubeless gaffa tape method

    Easier Ghetto Tubeless

Followed this method – working flawlessly for months – have used Bontrager TR tyres on non UST Mavic rims.

When I first went tubeless I used the Bontrager super juice stuff – utter waste of money. Wheel Milk was ok but recently started using Caffe Latex and that has worked really well – bit spendy though.

Having said that, i have just put some 2.2 jones acxs on my other bike and intend to leave them on all the time. The ACXs are light and roll a bit faster than mud-x. Similar tread pattern and almost as good in most mud.

+3p accelerator (?) on soon too.

Apparently it's weak pound, and lack of refining capacity.

Someone told me the other day that Chinese petrol consumption is up 28% in a year

If you have one near by UNI-QLO do amazingly good, plain, and well made jeans for about £15-£20

I like Uni-Qlo but not a single pair of their Jeans, even the relaxed fit get over my cyclists thighs.

I've just bought some Howies jeans and at the fourth time of asking I've found a pair that actually fits ok, quite high waisted though.

Best Jeans I've bought in recent years for longevity and quality have been Energie jeans – fantastic denim.

    Diesel very good too.

I'd swerve Fat Face – not greatly impressed with their stuff.

Not really a soft roader though, more a tall hatchback type thing.

Never been in one but it certainly ticks a lot of boxes for a family car, certainly be more comfy on british roads than all the cars "that really handle well"

Having been down the air mattess route I'd say go for Thermarest type things for young kids as ours were forever rolling off air matresses. As kids are much less heavy/dense I think they're comfortable for them too, you also don't need to insulate the matress from the ground as you do with air matresses.

Ah good question – I've lost my Torx key for my K24s which I bought especially – can't remember the size but T25 is ringing a bell

I've been wanting a scooter for a while but fear public opprobium. I was looking at a Razor A5 it's got bigger wheels than "normal" scooters – the 29er of the scooter world if you like. Much cheaper than the admittedly very nice Xootr range.

I bet you'd be more careful with no helmet…

OTOH I might not, I'll let the plastic/polystyrene take care of the branches as I take care not to pilot my steed  into a tree

Why do XC riders wear helmets?

Branches – rare is the ride that I don't hear doik sound as my helmet hits a tree branch

I'm interested in this myself, looking at 1Tb raid 1 at minimum though – not really sure of the point of a NAS server without a mirror drive?

Don't really know that much about cars but isn't part of it because all modern diesels are Turbo diesels, wouldn't petrol engines begin to share the same characteristics as diesels if they were turbo'ed too?

The Mavic TN719s are excellent. Basically just a 29er version of their equally excellent XM719 disc 26" rim.

Stiff, strong, durable and not too heavy… Would have loved to have got some Stans Flows myself, but didn't fancy more than £80 per rim when the TN719's cost me less than half that!

If you're still locked to the V30 firmware because of your service provider you can get around this by updaing your product code

    Nokia product code update guide.

It's dead easy, although phone needs to be fully charged to actually do the update bit. Waiting for mine to charge now.

ok, my laptop based updater didn't load properly yesterday, i'll have another go.

where do i download the maps from? i couldn't find a link?

If you're using Ovi software suite it does it all for you I think.

Virgin Media has iPlayer. You can also use a wii (pq isn't all that though if that's important to you) not sure about other consoles – be surprised if they didn't

    PS3 does too [/url]

s i highly rate Bonty ACX , have to say Bonty really are the nutz when it comes to 29 er tires !

I rate my ACX 29ers so highly that I've kept on putting off buying any Mud-X so far this year as the ACX just keeps on working even in the slop (+ I'm tight + skint)
