Why don’t you just use a bluetooth speaker instead? Assuming your laptop has bluetooth.

It’s very well done, superbly acted and directed, maybe do with a few more laughs. I love the mad farmer.

they are made of very lightweight material that I think won’t last 15yrs

Can confirm, out walking the dog and a bramble ripped the crap out of the back of my Filo, it was less than 2 weeks old, my fault really. Got in touch with Alpkit though and they patched it, looks crap(ish) still keeps me warm. Top service, thanks Alpkit.

Marijuana Tax Revenue May Top $3 Billion A Year With Legalization

California could make over $500m, UK has nearly double the population and used to higher taxes/weed price so could make £1bn

I just tried to get my PAC code from Virgin (they use EE network) , lady convinced me to talk to technical and see if there was anything they could do to help – amazingly they could and it has or it did anyway for a while. The first time I speed tested after he did whatever he did and I rebooted phone I hit 12 Mbps which is good for 3g and certainly better than the 0.8 and 1.19 Mbps I had this morning and faster than 3 where I live (I got a PAYG 3 SIM just to check their service out).

However speed has since dropped to about 5-7 Mbps and pings are in the 900’s compared to 30-50 for 3 :sigh:

Same here on Virgin, it’s been mixed at best. Going to move to 3

The new Picasso looks spangly and is very well reviewed. The MkIII Scenic, which I have is pretty good as a practical “boot on wheels”, hasn’t let us down at all, cheapish to buy (although not that cheap new) and cheap to run, although the model is actually quite long in the tooth now.

I’d prolly go for a Picasso or S-Max – new one on way so maybe “bargains to be had”

In terms of power though aim for 130-150 hp though.

I don’t really see how either of these companies Carphone Warehouse or Phones 4U can survive when the phone companies have their own shops.

Because they offer better deals than the phone companies do, which is precisely why the telcos want rid.

I would say that I always find 5:1 sound ends up with voice soundtrack getting buried and difficult to hear

Shouldn’t really happen, most digital media is encoded so that it raises the centre channel volume so that it is upfront in the mix. Besides you should (well you could on my old AV amp from around 2002) be able to raise the volume of any of the channels independently

If you’re in a Virgin area then Virgin. Even the basic package at 30 Mb, soon to be upgraded to 50Mb, is enough to stream netflix, Spotify and surf Web, watch YouTube etc. Pay a bit under £30 for that and unlimited calls.

You might be better off with a simple stereo amplifier connected to your TVs Audio out and some normal half decent speakers.

After years of having a semi high end 5.1 setup I went back to a 2.1 system with a stereo amp and speakers when my av amp died , I don’t miss 5.1. Second hand hifi can be cheap, even budget hifi is going to sound better than a soundbar . But if you want a soundbar go for a sub too

I’d certainly look at PAYG and buying phones outright

This but a SIM only contract, PAYG is expensive.

Don’t know the answer to your question but I have one for you and other SoA fans.

I watched the first two seasons a while back on Netflix, enjoyed it but lost interest at the start of season three as it just seemed so one note, ‘SAMCRO/Jax is in trouble, quick let’s do some crimes and get out of this trouble’. there doesn’t seem any light and shade, it’s all shade. Does this change at all, character development, comic relief, anything?

Went camping once with some friends who invited some first time campers. They borrowed a tent with a traditional (ie non sig/zig) ground sheet in. They set up and then we all went out for a bit, after we came back to the campsite we heard a scream worthy of any hammer horror. The newbies tent had been invaded by something like 20 slugs, to make matters worse the lady newbie was an utter clean freak/ocd head, she then proceeded to clean the tent for 4 hours.

Plastic (family) tents last about 3 to 4 months use. No waterproofer is going to help uv degradation. I’ve just retired my 7 you old Montana 6, the fabric especially on the roof has gone a bit crisp packetty

Yup you need a powered sub, most are anyway. Second hand subs are pretty cheap. AVForums is a good place to look for sh gear/research. If it’s just music you’re interested in no need to worry about 18″ monsters, look for a 10 to 12 inch good suggestions above, Richer have a good range of inexpensive subs.

Osprey pacs are amazing. But if your budget won’t stretch then the QUECHUA Forclaz 30 Air Backpack is just a great pack at a silly cheap price.

    Camping. With a tv, why?

Because people like different things? Some of the people who I’ve seen with TVs camping seem to be the kind of people who camp 20 times a year.

We have the sun canopy for our Montana 6 (2007-2014, rip) in truth I don’t think it’s really suitable for anything more than its moniker suggests. Imo buy the extension or use the side door in conjunction with a Coleman Event shelter

Yeah I’d be interested in seeing the difference it made, but not that interested since I don’t compete.

Like others I’d be very interested in trying/using HGH and Testosterone – especially since I’m in my 40’s.
