I’m 6’1 but have long arms and legs, current bike is an 18″ Scandal with a ridonculous amount of seatpost shjowing which is why I’m after a 19.5″ Scandal, V1 preferred but I’ll get a V2 if someone wants to sell. Cash waiting.

I have a want ad but it’s generated zero interest

epicyclo – Love what you’ve done with that Scandal – what handlebars are those? Surprised that 2.35 big apples fit in the back of the Scandal is that one of the original Scandium frames?

Bought one of these last year for camping, kept everybodies phone, my battery pack and my vaping gear fully charged. Works very well in bright sunshine, marginal on cloudy days – which was what the battery pack was used for.

I’d swerve the m9 based on reviews, part 2 here

    Last paragraph from Part 1

Although we’re still missing some of the pieces, based upon what data we have the One M9 is in an alarming place for a new smartphone. It’s pretty rare that a new phone ends up regressing in almost every major way compared to an old phone, but the One M9 ends up doing this in display and battery life. The SoC is better, but I can’t help but feel that Snapdragon 805 ends up being a better choice than Snapdragon 810 for a flagship smartphone at this time. The Snapdragon 808 may be better suited as an upgrade to the Snapdragon 805, but given the performance of the 810 I’m not really holding my breath. Given all of these issues, I’m almost tempted to point to the One M8 as the better phone, but until we get the full picture we won’t be coming to any final conclusions about the One M9.

    Get an S6

Thanks for the heads up on Fenix, Plume has been a low level irritant for quite a while now, shame it seemed to be the best client a couple of years ago when I went through them all. Fenix is so much better, £3 well spent.

Loads to do and see on North Norfolk coast, Cromer seems to be on the up a bit but just a tad UK seaside grotty. Sheringham and Wells next the Sea are nicer seaside towns. Holt and Burnham Market are posh inland towns. Great fish and chips in Holt. Muckleburgh collection if military vehicles are your thing, seal watching at Blakeney, massive beach at Holkham great for kites, horse riding, Holkham Hall. North Norfolk railway if steam trains float your boat. Sheringham Country Park, nice walks etc.

Amazon do unlimited storage for any image types cheaply (or free with Prime). Don’t think you can share from it though.

There’s an android Amazon Photo Cloud app, not sure if that counts though?

I use Amazon Cloud which was the cheapest at the time a few years ago, just checked and you can get unlimited photo storage for Amazon prime subscribers/customers, otherwise £16pa for 32GB, £32 for 100GB

Yup safe Tory seat here in Hertford & Stortford, usually over 50% vote conservative, fell to mid-40’s during the height of New Labour. Never had a canvasser, barely get any literature.

If it’s not too big and you can afford it wait for the SGS6.

iPhone is old tech and low spec compared to other phones. I’m a big fan of Apple computers and software but their phones are nothing compared to Samsung.

Never owned and maybe never will own an Apple product but this is absolute bullshine.

The reviews I’ve seen of the M9 have been less than complimentary.

Kind of interested in this as I’ve just discovered I’ve worn out my Brasher Superlites after 2 years, worn them for probably a bit less than half that time. People who wear wellies, can you wear them for longish walks, tend to do 3ish miles of an evening, 6-7 at the weekend? Only ever worn cheapo wellies and they are hideous to walk in.

Bought some Outwell chairs 8 years ago, had 7 hard camping seasons and 1 is still pretty much perfect 1 is looking a bit tatty but still totally useable. Model looks exactly like the “Black Hills…” but not sure if it is exactly the same. On the basis that it is I would buy again on the caveat that they’re not the most space efficient camping chairs out there. I think comfort and pack size are probably inversely proportional.

Got the latest Humax DTR-T2000 a couple of months ago.

It’s absolutely brilliant, the UI is super smooth and well thought out, whoever created it has done a terrific job, and for once the processor can keep up with the UI, nearly no lag at all. PQ is great too, as is the on-demand stuff, iPlayer and Netflix are great, the lesser on demand providers less so.

However there are a couple of caveats, the “D-Pad” on the remote control is really clicky – FFS why? It’s crashed a couple of times, no power switch so you have to pull the power, not a fan of that. The hard drive is a bit noisy especially when recording two shows – not sure why it wasn’t on my old Humax, other public criticisms are “only” two tuners and only a 500GB drive, not bothered about either of these personally. Feels a bit built to a price.

Overall very happy 7.5/10, a non clicky remote (grrr), and silent drives would have bumped this up to a 9/10.

Edit: Oh yeah thought of another gripe, you can’t set up a favourites list, you can remove channels from the channel list which you don’t like/want but no actual favourites list, weird.

Meanwhile in Sheffield, it’s 100 years since the invention of stainless. And is the UK celebrating one of the greatest engineering / science inventions ever? is it heck.

Shouldn’t we actually be inventing new stuff rather than celebrating old stuff?

hardware business is up in arms as they can’t shift any pooters with W8 installed. According to our IT bod.

Yup Dell are still selling new machines with Win 7 installed. I use Win 7 at home and work but have used 8.1 and it’s absolutely fine besides Win10 is going to be a free upgrade for everyone running win7 onwards.[/url]

£30 (actually just noticed it’s gone up to £33) for Virgin Cable 50Mbps, and unlimited calls, Freesat TV (latest YouView box is great with a couple of caveats), Netflix, Spotify.
