obviously it's not just a case of money, you need the donated organs and they are in short supply, simply not enough to go around. So, choices have to be made as to in which body the donated organ will stand the best chance of survival and success.

The body of someone who, quite honestly, didn't look after his own liver, can surely not be a better bet than somebody who did what they could to look after their own liver?

Or if I'm wrong – tell me a better way of deciding? But bear in mind – the decision HAS to be made, due to the shortage of organs.

It would be great if replacment organs grew on trees, but they don't. Therefore you DO have to make choices, and those choices HAVE to be based on something.

What would be a fairer way of deciding between person A and person B? Suggestions?

I'm sure this is just how Nazi Germany started.
Neighbours spying on each other, grassing each other up, an intolerance and hatered of people who do things differently

    Not good.

Similar prob here – the ability to "go for hours " isn't always a plus. Sometimes we only have an hour or two before the husband comes home and I have to rush 🙁

Another vote for self serve tills here!

Only sensible use for the things would be for school trips. Take classes of 11 year olds down, get them to fill a trolley and run the lot through the self service check out, swipe-beep-swipe-beep-swipe-beep. Then explain if they don’t work hard at school they could be doing this for life. That would do more for society than 1,000 educational sociologists.

    Best use for them yet!!!

Although I have also found them to be a good way to get rid of several pounds worth of coppers (if you can be arsed). You just keep piling them in – the machine didn’t huff at me once 🙂
