Done a section up to the M62 from Blackstone Edge side.

Didn’t see a soul. Was a wet day during the week in term time though.

It’s all peaty up there so you should really stick to the path.

    Enjoy

M-Sport will show you around if you’re serious, one on one, couldn’t believe it. Prodrive will take group tours (or would should I say).

What a place Dovenby Hall is.

Designers still sit behind desks looking at monitors upstairs but what a downstairs it is. I remember seeing Colin Mcrae’s focus he’d rolled in (think it was Rheola) sitting there about 4/5 weeks after I’d seen the aftermath on the stage. Quite surreal. Top guys.

Yeah but you’re forgetting the business that garage will attract from them spinning around up there.

Some reasonable looking things on crc. About £30, there are some for about £20 that look adequate. I’ll have a look at Halfords. One needs to be like an armchair for my ma’s bike and a mate needs one that’s comfortable to do a lot of pedalling on ie. not that wide.

Solar technology is young. Give it 3/5 years there’ll be panels that are a lot more efficient while I presume you are stuck with what’s current(haha)ly available for the next 25 years?

a11y I had it in sixth after about 400 yards :-). They’re ace. Set off from snail pace in 3rd.

Made them an offer. He said someone was due to go look at it later (maybe/maybe not) but I wouldn’t be devastated to miss it at the price it is now. It’s right at the top of my budget.

    We’ll see.

The only other thing is the softness of the clutch. It seems really easy to use but as I said before I’d just got out of a 98 Discovery.

Would you say they are like that in your experience large?

It’s a tricky one because it could have had nothing done under warranty then everything fall off on the way home (exaggerating and I’d be ok because they’re offering 3 months warranty)

The only other thing I’ve seen is an 08 Vito at Evans Halshaw but I’ve owned the previous model and the auto box amonst other things gave me nightmares

    It’s just over £11k, 56k.

    It’s a sweet looking thing.

I’d thought of a chip on a 104 to take it up to 130 but I wanted something I could give an easy life for the next few years and still manage to sell on plus I love 6 gears.

Is your scooby 6 speed? My bro’s just had his tuned by some famous tuner in Kent. Faster than youknowwhat off a very shiny shovel now.

I think I’m going to go and make an offer for it. Been dwelling for months then when something that looks right comes up I get cold feet. I’ve read somewhere else on this forum there will always be good and bad cars. I’ve done this before and taken the time being thorough only to buy a car that’s had massive unforeseeable failure.

Is there any incentive for making cash sales any more?

    Thanks for that fubar.

The salesman I chatted with today at trafford park is called Chris. Seemed like a nice chap. He told me it’s their policy to allow people to browse without hassle and not to pressure a possible sale. Sounds like your experiences

    It is a good price.

Log book says UK car and it’s got a full VWSH.

I know there are others but I’ve been looking for 5/6 months and the only swb 130bhp with mileage this good has tended to be more expensive and sold within a few hours of going online. I tried to view a couple of times to be told the seller had taken a deposit on the van unseen.

    I mean who does that!?

I’d just got out of an old Landy into this and the clutch pedal felt pretty soft. I seem to remember working out of one that felt the same. Being hyrdaulic should this be expected.

I’ve been looking at spending basically 3/4 years savings and I don’t want to buy a lemon. I know there’s no guarantees.

I could do with a ban from stw, It would make me find something else to do when I’m bored.

Echo those sentiments. People don’t even try not to be nesbits when they go online, they say what they would have said to that big guy in the pub if they had the nads. Not been here that long but it can be like nesbit-central sometimes.

The first large pic of the guy descending with the waterfall in the background is ace. The shot of the tree tops in the mist is pretty sweet too.

If MRI scans didn’t cost money I’d say let em crack on but if they’re pushing the limits without a lid they’re as worthy of treatment as someone who gets hammered and thinks he can fly.

Smashed a 2 inch section clean out of my left radius 2 years ago in a motorbike crash. Amongst other things.

One end healed after metalwork inserted, the other didn’t so finally 3 months back my consultant (after me pushing and pushing) agrees to re-operate.

Feels the strongest it has for 2 years but my wrist is taking a lot of time and pain to get the range of movement back. It was fractured also in the original accident and hasn’t take too well to being immobilised for approx 8/9 weeks.

That’s what’s holding me back now.

Good luck to your mate. A good physio makes all the difference.
