Don’t think people are really having the problems with the compacts RAGGATIP. I work with a guy who has one and he’s pretty good at breaking everything he touches yet his phone survives.

Mine was in a case with a screen protector when it ghost cracked

Get in touch with Sony so they can tell you there’s no problem.

    Went exactly as I expected.

Sent to Tesco Mobile for their engineers to examine. Their stance is that as Sony hasn’t notified them of a fault then it must be accidental damage. Not really sure why they asked me to send it in, unless maybe they thought they’d find a massive dent in the frame and could say told you so.

Sony said I can send it to them for one of their engineers who will go through the same process and tell me the same thing then charge £21 to return the phone. As you said bigphil they deny any fault with the product even with numerous instances.

Tesco Mobile wanted £124 to replace the screen. A local shop wants £60 but their reputation is not very good.

Does anyone know a good repair shop near Halifax?

Not as keen to push the brand as they were in the early days are they.

I don’t get why this was ISIL and not ISIS seeing as it revolves around the Syria situation. Am I missing something or do they just call them what they want because they seemingly can

It’s a bit annoying when I’ve just about got my 4 month old pup toilet trained only to watch him stressing and busting for a piss then having to let him do it inside while simpletons get their kicks for 6,7,8 hours a night.

A few nights a year for a few hours for the kids would be ok but not this

DLC. Can’t remember the last time my £40+ was enough to get the best bits of the game included.

Increasingly this forum and it’s boring, meaningless subject matter constantly under the heading ‘have we done (insert dull unimportant trivial issue) yet’, like a bunch of washer women Nora Battys.

There used to be a good sprinkling of gems in and amongst the turd. Now it’s like browsing on Soundcloud for a good tune.

It’s good until you want to play online then it’s window licker central with lobbies 99.3% full of people who should be playing Mario kart, not the best racing simulator to date.

It’s worse in a van because people can’t see there’s anything in front and presume you’re holding them up.

What’s worse is the zombie driver that lives life at 42mph no matter what the limit is. Sat right up my chuff in 30 zones then nowhere in the nationals then, oh look it’s you again

Surely 50k miles less than most others on the market and £2k of new injectors must count for something.

I don’t expect strong money for a bit of carpet

The carpeted table was to stop the dog sliding off when he used to jump up and peer through the opening in the bulkhead.

It’s been perfect for my previous needs, suppose there’s not many people out there that have those needs.

So it needs to go on cars4kidnappers.com then.

Or more realistically drop the price a bit. I know there are others on there of a similar mileage and age for more which don’t have the reassurance that the injectors are under warranty for 50k.

I suppose these vans could be raising little interest too.

    Picture might be pants.

I did 2 of mine 4/5 weeks ago. Put them back in myself, more through shock and panic. Could bend them kind of ok straight away so didn’t think they were broken.

About 3 weeks after and now back in the UK they swelled up a bit and movement was getting more and more difficult. Went for xray where doc told me nothing broken just probably bruised and strained ligaments.

Had no option but to get back to work last week. Still can’t straighten them. Doc advised ice and elevate where possible. Take ibuprofen tablets and keep them moving.

I’ve been through enough physio to know how important this is. No pain now no gain later, within reason.

Went for my first ride since it happened today and at the moment they feel ok. Tomorrow might be a different story. God it felt good to be back on two wheels manualling and popping over things.

Well I could write a book about this trip..

Thanks Alpin for the Brand suggestion. Beautiful.

I’d have liked to have ridden the place but with 2 broken fingers from Todtnau, one was at right angles before I straightened it,the riding’s been scuppered.

Vivaro brake pads fell apart for no apparent reason and the discs were caned so..€300

Now a water pipe has popped so I’m booked into a Hotel in Leogang but staying in Innsbruck til the van is fixed..€400

Ha feels like it sometimes Alpin! Vivaro but at 6ft3 with camping stove, gas bottle, water butt and a bit of food, clothes, helmets and riding gear it’s a bit of a squeeze to sleep in.

Hurriedly fitting new bb and stem bearings to pedally bike just to keep my options open..

Not a lot of room in the van for me and 2 bikes. I’ll have a try

You’re persuading me now prof. Only thing that puts me off that is having my eggs all in one basket. I don’t always book into hotels and will sometimes tramp it if I feel like cracking on. I’ve thrown myself into mtbs since being splattered by a smidsy in my motorbike days. Having 5k worth of bikes parked in a van in Graffitiland Belgium worries me a bit.

Then again they’re insured and Garda area has always been on the list. I’m almost as indecisive as I am disorganised

I won’t be down that way until about a week later colp. I’ll be leaving todtnau a week this Saturday.

I felt a bit dumb last night when I began to realise a lot of places didn’t open til late June but it seems with the 4/5 options for riding in Germany and the other suggestions in this thread that all is not lost.

I’m that disorganised I turned up to bad wildbad to ride last year on a Sunday, only to be told it was closed Mon/Tues 8)

I will be taking the dh bike. Kind of limits the riding options. I could take the pedally bike but feel guilty for underusing the dh.

Ridden at Saalbach-Hinterglemm before and the trail down into Hinterglemm is one of my all time faves

That could be the plan Alpin. Not sure if there’s anywhere else in the area open and worth a look. Can’t afford Switzerland or I’d probably go and have a look at lenzerheide, I think the first lift is open.

Winterberg in Germany might be worth a look. I’m so disorganised.

I’d like to ride Les Gets but might struggle to get there during a weekend

The 2 main yardsticks of recent years aren’t there. Stewart on song, for me, was like watching Marc Marquez ride. I could watch a race if they were the only ones in it.

I got a bit bored watching the final at A1

I’m more in favour of riding my bike than allowing the powers that be to use the media to drive me down a path of hate to a destination which allows a few individuals to become wealthy at the cost of the lives and health and homes of many others.

It’s just every now and then I feel like my ignorance is becoming my permission.

‘I seem them as a tie which means a loss of freedom and I’m not sure I like the thought of not being able to walk round the garden now for fear of an unfound turd lying in wait.’

You don’t sound like the kind of person who gets dogs, more like the kind who gets a dog. Would make more sense if I could use italics. But then I am judging from a single post on the internet.

    Entry doesn’t look great.

You’d want to be hitting it at warp speed to get the best out of it.
