I know really I should go for a lid-light too but wanted to avoid it if the six pack throws wide enough to be able to avoid it.

I’ll have to rethink. Maybe go for shaggys suggestion. If I’ve saved enough pennies

    grow up before you die

Maybe live before you die might be more apt, or get some real problems.

I didn’t take what Jezza was saying seriously. But didn’t find it funny. Can I still go outside tomorrow? I’m confused. As if I was going to change channel when that cardigan wearing man was apologising on someone elses behalf.

If I were in the public eye I’d rather be loved by some and hated by others than liked by all. This way I could get ‘us’ to do my fighting against ‘them’.

    He’s just curly haired Marmite.

I do feel dirty for watching the one show.

Maybe we should put him on a motorbike and get him to ride through some cheesewire..

He’s built a career from picking up on mass-societies’ problems, making extreme statements on them, making waves and raking in a living from it.

I’m just bored of him now and if anyone thinks the last season of Top Gear was good then we’ll have to differ. The vietnam by ped show was worth his wage.

Not even frothing in the slightest. I actually enjoyed watching them two generic safe hands who host the show squirming and apologising for him. Just don’t find him funny.

In a world where somebody being offended is more important than the statement they were offended about he used to be quite entertaining. Now he’s just…..I don’t have the word

    I agree coulda.

Although kids today wouldn’t believe you if you told them the ‘well to do’ used to pay to go to the Arctic to shoot polar bears.

Not much really changes, just the way the stories are told.

The sooner this country gets used to being stagnant and realises wealth generation doesn’t (relatively) live here any more the sooner we can all be happy playing around on bicycles. Happiness can be cheap. It’s up to you.

A lot of people (some in power) need to look at where we are not where we were.

Oh and stop giving aid to India

Buy one with 6 gears and no timing belt.

I bought a Vivaro after telling people how much I didn’t like the look of the front end and how much the interior looks like it’s been designed by Ronald Macdonald. Love it now.

Wanted a VW but hysteric people were over-inflating the price.
Looked at Transits but unless you’re working with them they’re a bit unrefined IMO.Trends are ok.
Vitos are rust buckets with the front seats too low. Not a problem for short trips.
    Toyotas…well I know it’s a van but I’ve got some self respect.

Pook – It was fun. Any day on 2 wheels is. Apart from those that end in hospital.

For the amount of time we had it was perfect.

I need to find somewhere that has drops into steep descents into berm after berm. I was never going to find that at Stainburn but it only took 50 mins to get there so…

I’m getting over a bad arm+wrist injury so probably wasn’t the perfect terrain and I really hurt it popping my seesaw cherry after about 15/20 mins 8)

That last guy shouldn’t live in a city. 10% of those were justified rants but I think he probably does it for a hobby

What particuarly amused me is seeing the track by the wall (about 2:40 onward in the video) being ridden as a descent

    Oops. Noobs.

Did it all but set off out of the car park thinking we’d check it out first only to be at the bottom in 2 minutes. Checked a lot of it out on the way back up, played on the seesaw bit for half an hour or so but didn’t have the camera out at that point. We were supposed to be getting a feel for the place. Wish I had because it was bail city.

No he’s not wearing a lid.

Bit I liked most must have been the top of the red then.

Yeah any day on 2 wheels is fun in my book.

Good weather. Was pretty small but we were only there for a few hours anyway. Highest part of the black turning left when you come in from the main road was my favorite bit. Nice berms, couple of small doubles, that bit seemed to flow well but they’re always going to have problems making something flow around there with it being so rocky.

I’ll put a vid on this thread at some point. Not made one yet 🙂 I felt fast over the stuff higher up but you can bet I’ll look like Mr Bean

Surprising how good your balance really is when you start playing on seesaws and skinny bits of wood

I was there owen. Margham. Special day. Still got the programme and the Burns Vs McRae one.

Holy poo. It’s rocky. Might put a vid up if we don’t look like we’ve just discovered mtb’ing.

Only fell off the seesaw twice
