Still got no lights but give it a month and I’d like to. Heard there’s some good sfuff over that way.

    Calderdale folk’ll know this one.

First descent towards the wireworks in Copley from Norland Moor edge.

Flying down behind a mate who disappeared over the 6ft wall at the end of the first descent into someones’s drive. Had to open a big gate and let himself out.

Might leave the bearing tool for now and just strip and regrease. There’s no play it’s just a bit noisy sometimes due to the terrain I ride most on.

I was going to buy the HT tool but wanted to make sure.

    Thanks Dez.

    Anybody?

Maybe I’m being daft, maybe the hollowtech tool fits everything?

Rode it a few weeks ago as it was nearly finished. If it’s the same run that brings you out at the bottom of Cragg Road. Thought I’d found a real gem then it turned into what looked like someone’s drive after about 400 yards. Spoil everything don’t they.

    That picture is spot on.

I’ve never been out riding in a group thinking..

‘I really could use some 160’s down here’

I have been out riding in a group thinking..

‘Oh my Buddha, my thighs and calves(moo) are on fire’

For that reason in preparation for my Alps trip this year I’ll not be buying 160’s but doing some star jumps

Nice bike. Doesn’t sound like he wants to share his bargain with you guys. Or looking at his spunky kitchen he payed full price and feels like you’ll hammer him for it?

Wow, his parachute wasn’t open for very long was it!

I thought he was very unlucky to get it twisted after all that but then I suppose you make your own luck choosing somewhere like that to try wingsuit flying. Such a small margin for error from a mountain of that shape.

    Extreme planking

Hi and well done for picking it back up. Most would have taken the easy option.

I’m not watching it, just reading comments on facebook saying how he’s such a ‘genius’. Where is this geniusness?

    Honestly, genuine question

I read the bit under the pic as ‘David Cameron’s face is widening’

He looks like a fat Bear Grylls with them beady eyes.

What Alex says. Peaks vids are good Alex.

One way around the 960 ‘old fashioned’ look is to ‘warm’ the track with editing software. You do still lose out on frame rate and it looks a bit naff expanded to full screen.

Nobody ever seems to bother with 1080 for this kind of filming. Is that because of frame rate, file size, pain to edit and render, maybe all three?

I’m 31 and in February it’s more of a case of making myself go out to get fitter and more time on the bike than actually wanting to but as has been said before I never regret going.

I could just make up a load of bullshit excuses like my mates do and play on the xbox smoking myself into a bag of Haribo.

Roll on the clocks changing back. Makes all the difference.

It’s right that adventures and riding somewhere new make a difference but I struggle to do more than 2/3 hours in this weather without injuries making it painful.

Ton’s words are powerful. At least you’ve got the choice.

    Going on a bit aren’t I

Can stoppie on x2’s and I’m just under 14st.

Mine feel progressive. Have never grabbed.

Easy to set lever position. No need for allen keys.

Been through 3 sets of pads, never needed to bleed. In the worst weather and conditions.

Friend has new Avids (not sure which) on a 5. Needed to bleed a couple of times to get them back right again and he works for a bike manufacturer, knows his eggs.

Only have one complaint. They squeal in the wet. Tried Hope sh1t shifter just to satisfy myself it wasn’t residue on the rotor from cleaning. No change. Done it since new. Pads are not glazed. It’s been useful to let people know you’re coming at times and it can make you faster not wanting to hear a pig being murdered under you. Far from ideal though.

Oh yeah I had a vibration on the front but that turned out to be a set of naff pads.

Motors TV have the rights to broadcast what CBS put together. Ricky Carmichael is on commentating now and then which makes up for Ralph Shaheen over emphasising one word at a time.

Anyway apart from all that it’s shaping up to be a very good season. I’d like to see Dungey take the title and Stewart stop riding through people.

You haven’t been reading aloud Hora’s posts on the girlfriend thread have you?!

As long as they’re drinking they probably will get over it.

This thread is useless without pics.

You’d better not be peterfile because that would be a crime.

Either you are A) This guy

Or B) Too much the kind of person that asks this kind of question about giving his gf the boot on an internet forum.

    I go with B.

Had a notebook for 2 years, motherboard knackered. Reflowed, knackered again. Only came with 1 year warranty. Crap. I wouldn’t buy another.

Laptops might not be made to last 1 year in Azerbijackistan like my notebook seemed to be.

    Deadly wasn’t it.

Was it you that I advised to just go for it yesterday? Sorry if it was. I’ve been out all day today not far from Hebbers and it was so different to yesterday. Glad I put the flats back on. I’ve never ridden so slowly, good for concentration, trying to pick a non-lethal line.
