I’d agree if it were to filter down. Listening to BBC World Service interviews last night made it seem a purely profit driven scheme.

Fair enough entrepreneurs create jobs but then billionaires wouldn’t be billionaires if they were sole traders.

We got through the last one, we’ll get through this one.

That’s a relief. There’s me thinking I’d been made redundant and lost my house. Hang on a minute…

Seems to me there’s a lot of ‘I’m alright Jack’s in this country.

I was involved in a non-fault motorbike crash and friends and relatives later told me that I shouldn’t get another bike, even though my life revolved around it, because the standard of driving on our roads is so poor.

Heard this opinion on another 2 occasions when friends have been involved in non-fault bike collisions.

This country is full of nesbits who would rather remove the good element in a situation because remedying the problem and removing the bad element ie. shit drivers, would be difficult. So it’s ignored/allowed to continue as if shit driving is acceptable and it’s your fault for riding on the road in the first place.

    Tards.

Had the same problem with some Hope rotors. Didn’t appear to be fouling but swapping the rotor fixed it. Was fouling the arms of the rotor ever so slightly.

Why do people fit those bonnet covers? Stone chips?

This is what my street would look like if there was a ban here.

There’s raising awareness and then there’s being a nesbit.

She was on happy birthday Radio 5 with that goon Livesy a couple of months ago. How she doesn’t biscuit laugh at herself I don’t know.

She’s so articulate it makes it seem like a comedy sketch.

Where do you pay at Dalby?

Never noticed anything in the car park next to the 4x track.

    Inspirational again guys.

I always climb mountains dressed in similar gear to Anna

Seriously though I’d be contacting Canon/Nikon and trying to blag a free camera in exchange for a banner on your blog or something.

T’is food for the soul, keep it up.

Not sure why I’d want a budget site though – can you expand please?

Maybe just to cover two different markets. Some will open your site and be put off because it does look plush. If a second website looked a bit more basic, with maybe the cheapest option being a couple of hundred less (I don’t know your overheads and what you need to charge) you may just pick up the bargain hunters out there.

‘Free embossing’ after having paid £1100 is probably a line I’d take out.

Site looks slick though. Might be the problem. Ever considered setting up a more ‘budget’ looking site as a sideline?

Riding a bike that smooths out every single bump requiring minimal effort from the rider makes things a lot more interesting means that now when you’re pushing the point of control it’s happening at a much higher speed.

Ha ton have you been following me?

Setting off from just off Norland moor in a van. I love Hebden but always end up roaming off and making the ride a bit disjointed. Was thinking I should just get back to Lee Quarry and get more familiar with it.

You know how it is when you only saw Lee Quarry for the first time a week ago then Gisburn the week after for the first time, I just want to go somewhere new every week now

Some good route advice. Watched a vid of someone doing a 4 minute flat/descent into Lee Quarry that looked like fun with a few kickers along the way.

It’s taken me the best part of 3 years post motorbike crash to get back somewhere near where I was before on a mtb. Nerve damage in a broken arm/wrist combo being a big barrier.

I had no idea it would take this long. Stay positive.

@3.20 couldn’t you have just pushed back up the hully gully trail to ride the section again, rather than pushing off the trail and dragging organic down onto it? cheers for that matey.

Nice to see you taking “health and safety” procedures seriously and taking a bike with special “follow me even in the Fog” wheels……………

They make it easier for the air ambulance to spot us 🙂

    RA RA SHOUTY SHOUT.

Not really sure of the relevance of including the breed of the dog in the title. Probably wouldn’t be as provocative if the thread was titled ‘Attacked by a dog outside my home’. Either way if it was a Pug or a Mastif an attack by a dog should be reported and you’re going to have to deal with the consequences.

Or you could just shy away for an easy life and do nothing about it.

You know the thing you should be doing you just seem to want the internet to tell you it would be ok to do the easy thing.

Been at rock bottom for a few months now feeling there was no hope and nothing could get worse, it’ll just be a dull existence from now on in. Then yesterday life actually got a lot worse.

There’s a lot of people struggling with things at the moment. Some drifting through their days in a stomach churning trance. I mean when all is stripped back and you’re an intelligent person capable of seeing who pulls the strings in this unfair world, without the distractions of loving relationships who can fail to be saddened by the grind to death we (I, at the moment) know as life. But You aren’t the only one.

Check out the fly tipping thread that’s on. You could be stood in the woods in the snow on a steep hill in the dark trying to hide the evidence. 🙂

    All the best.

    EDIT

My neighbour knocked on my door at 2:30am this morning; can you believe that, 2:30am?! Luckily for him I was still up playing my Bagpipes.

Paddy says “Mick, I’m thinking of buying a Labrador. ”Bugger that” says Mick “have you seen how many of their owners go blind?”

Man calls 999 and says “I think my wife is dead” The operator says how do you know? He says “The sex is the same but the ironing is building up!”

    🙂

I dread to think what a hollow bar would have done

15 stitches about 6 inches right of my manhood is my experience. Flesh hanging out and all. I still rode (freewheeled) home though. “Err can someone give me a lift to A&E”

    She should sue someone.

That’s what the people that natural selection can no longer kill do isn’t it.

Bet it’s a slow day for petrol station employees. They’ll just be selling jerry cans and rizlas because there’s no fuel left round here.

    Nice one ton.

For those asking, I ride a few of the same places and these guys like it steep.

I couldn’t agree more Herman! I find it disgraceful and tasteless how they ride down them paths without a care in the world! While all along they’re destroying the planet slowly but surely.

Is this real, this can’t be real…is it, nah can’t be.

I think we should ban the weather.

Get over your insignificant selves ffs.

Word memory champ came to my school about 13 years ago.

He said it was all about association for him. So I suppose your talk would be best drawn as a timeline of memorable images then just pad around them.
